It's crazy how much extra Rolex, Omega, and even Tudor charges to get into some solid gold offerings. They really charge a premium on precious medals.

That's just stunning, Brad-a remarkably well put together combination of colors. Looks magnificent! I would love to see the less expensive, gold-free white dial version when you have one.

Brad do you happen to know if they also bring back the speedmaster Mark 2? With yellow gold two tone and black dial.. it'll be the most beautiful watch ever made!

Damn, I bought my speedy for 4k in 2019. Granted this is 2 tone but 18k??? Speedy prices are getting out of hand

Hi Brad, this indeed a fabulous watch. However I share the view of other contributors here who feel that the price is somewhere on the wrong side of Bonkers... But it seems that the two-tone and gold models are aimed at those for whom money is no object. For the proletariats like me there are the steel versions...

Overpriced by about $5000. Compare steel Rolex Daytona vs two tone at list. It’s a $5000 difference. The Omega has about the same amount of gold vs it’s steel model as the Rolex so why $10000 more?

Not for me.

I saw a video two or three years ago weighing out how much gold is in a 40mm Rolex day date. It came to $8000 for that all gold watch (might be $9500 in 2024). How much pure gold in a two tone Daytona or speedy? I figure maybe $2000 worth. This is where Omega loses me…the price. I like the watch, but not at a $10,000 premium over steel.
