Brenday im an Omehalolic too ..... I have 6 Omegas....One of my Planet Oceans is a limited Edition of only 73 world wide !!!!!!!! A 2018 Pyeongchange winter olympics LE and a Snoopy like yours oh and an Omega tattoo... hahahaha :-)
Cheers man creating these videos is a right pain, However I just feel the urgency to share information and my learning with fellow Watch fans! Appreciate you sharing.
It looks great on deployant. I am a big supporter of making something great into even greater and better experience for you without taking anything away from how it was presened in its original form. Its all about making it your own and enjoying it to the full, and you done exactly that. I like it a lot
Loving your Omega collection. Well done Brendan with swapping the strap looks much better on your Snoopy. I have both my Worldtimer and Planet Ocean GMT on deployment straps.👍
Thanks Mike doing some of these videos even though they are low quality they still take ages! Appreciate you both sharing and watching. Much respect to a fellow own.
From one Snoopy owner to another, awesome collection. You should do a blue watch segment with the Snoopy and the Bond 60th. That’d be great. Keep up the videos.
Hi Brendan Hi have the same strap on my snoopy. Like you I was disappointed with the original but the guys at the Omega boutique in Bluewater found this option which is from an older Aqua Terra.
does the nylon make contact with the watch case near the lugs. I like the extra bulk but if fitment here is loose then sounds like it might scratch over time, vs that of the OEM rubber strap or the bracelet. Nice vid hope you can share some insight on this. Thanks!
I just picked my Snoopy today. I love the strap, I love the pin buckle. A lot of high-horology watches have this simple pin buckle. And it makes sense for this watch, much easier to get access to the case back. So I do not understand the argument, that it's cheap. This me it's simple and elegant. And this simplicity doesn't take away attention from the watch itself.
I love deployant clasps, I actually ordered it for my green 300m on the rubber, but I think that pin buckle for Snoopy looks gorgeous, it's flatter and more angular instead of roundish drployant. This is my personal opinion.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Hence me making the changes that I felt it necessary to enjoy and wear my Snoopy. I’m an owner on RU-vid saying it as I see it not a paid RU-vidr talking about watches they have never seen or will ever own. Hope you enjoy your new watch.
Congrats on the Snoopy, great watch. But i strongly disagree with your whole feelings towards the simple tang buckle. I have them on watches from Lange to Cartier, and love them. Brands often choose them because they are thin and simple, not because they are cheap. I also own the Snoopy, and my only complaint about the strap is the fact that it is fairly stiff. I swap mine back and forth from the factory strap to a blue Omega NATO depending on how i feel. At the end of the day, we all have our preferences, and if you prefer deployant buckles, great. But understand that many watch enthusiasts have different preferences.
Appreciate your point of view. I’m a big NATO fan too! I wear my GS on an Omega Nato. At least I’m doing owners reviews not talking about watches I’ll never own. Thanks again for sharing.
I have a snoopy with exactly the same blue nato strap with the numbers on the keeper. That is the ultimate Omrga collection. If I could have any more Omegas it would be a standard speedmaster saphire sandwich and 60th anniverary seamaster. You have excellent taste!
Hi Brendan, I'm smitten with this watch and love your review on the quality of the strap - which I have never seen anyone else mention. Just curious, is there any chance for someone who hasn't got a history with Omega boutique to buy the snoopy? Or is Chrono24 my only hope of scoring one?
Looks amazing Brendan. I agree, the strap it came with just sucked. I don't have the biggest wrist, 17inches and I was at the last hole on the strap. It looks fine on the bracelet but yes on the deployant the blue strap, white dial, and blue subdials make it pop!
Great video!!! What is the strap serial number or name ? It looks like it’s an original omega strap is it 🧐 I ordered the watch at my AD when it was launched, unfortunately still not on the wrist,… great invention ✍️
How much did this strap cost, Brendan? Hope one can still order it over here in Germany because it doesn't show up on the German Omega (shop) site. Thank you for sharing this great idea!
It’s not available on the website, Contact your local boutique they can get it for you. I’ve posted the serial number for it on my wall 2 months ago! Plus the serial number is in the description and I believe on the video! If memory serves me correctly. If they can’t supply you one. My London Omega Boutique No 260 Regents St Has them ready and waiting to go! Ask for Kelly.
@@BrendanBoswell sorry I missed the bit about the boutique. I saw the reference in the video and thought I would be able to enter it into google and buy it online. Guess I'll have to order from the boutique. I have a bracelet currently on order.
@@BrendanBoswell ordered! Thanks for the video. It’s a niche market so can be frustrating, but glad I’m not alone in wanting this watch to be the best it can be especially when the 45th got a deployant. I also have a Seamaster Diver 300m white dial. I’ve been wanting to add a regular speedmaster on a bracelet to my collection.
