I have a titanium panerai luminor 1279 gmt limited to 400 pieces and the material is much more expensive to refinish than my stainless steel Submariner. The material is also not durable as the marketing makes it out to be. The cost to replace the case because of a ding to the lug is very expensive. So be wary of titanium for everyday use especially if the finish has the brushed look.
I won’t try to fix any scratches on my new Omega World Timer, However I’ve had no problem removing damage and scratches from other Titanium watches. Yes Titanium is a scratch monster! Thanks for sharing.
I am starting to like this channel a lot, no beating around the bush or talking about watches you haven't experienced like these Gen Z You tubers! And old skool time wasters that grumble about anything over a 40mm Lol. You're a breath of fresh air, congratulations on this beautiful piece.
This sounds typical of all the Omega Boutique that I’ve been to visit. I’ve made very good relationships with the agents at the Omega store in Martin Place Sydney. Its always a warm and inviting environment that I would highly recommend anyone to visit if they are wanting an outstanding customer experience.
Great video. I just attended the Tokyo event yesterday for this announcement and would have bought it right there like you did but it was already allocated. I am hoping I can get the first allocation at my AD since they invited me to this event next week. Great watch and your video came up as the most recent so made me even more itching to get. Btw, we have th same MoonSwatch as well. What is your wrist size? It fits you well.
Learned about the existence of this watch after watching your vid. Finally got to see the watch in person and it is stunning. The world map was finished in such a high quality. Love the light weight too
I just was in my local Omega boutique with my friend to try on the green and titanium worldtimer. They are not for sale yet. Agree with your review, the green with gold hands and indices look amazing. But too flashy for me as a travel watch. The titanium is gorgeous up close, from 6ft away, it looks fairly ordinary and can easily fly under the radar on trips. Super light and almost not noticeable while on your wrist. I will probably go with the titanium when my dealer starts selling them. Congrats on your piece.
Thanks for commenting. I’ve broken all my own rules with this new Titanium. I’ve actually slept wearing it! Was going to wear it on a 52 cycle ride but had to stop myself! It’s a tone of money to drop on such a plain looking watch as you wrote from 6 feet away it looks nothing special! As I’m not trying to impress anyone it’s perfect for me. In the past I’ve actually felt sick for days after drop this kind of money on a watch. But not on this one. Interesting fact I can still tell the time perfectly without the minute marks. It’s only negative is the price it’s a lot.
