Great review! I wear Savage and Herod. Nothing else. But I recently tried Althair - loved it, bought it. It's beautiful. Nothing like I've ever experienced.
Surprisingly I do think it can be worn on a summer evening. The vanilla isn’t horribly cloying. Worn lightly I think it would be very alluring. This is a super charismatic fragrance

Another quality review. Looking forward to the roll-out in Dallas. On another note, I sampled Blue Sapphire for the first time…I’m speechless. Can’t believe a fragrance of that $$$ can actually smell like it is worth it. Blue Sapphire is one of very few fragrances that could be used as signature scent, date night, formal occasions and special celebrations. Stunning!
I just got mine. I travel from NY to Montreal so I got it from Duty Free. I’ve have not smelled anything so exquisite. It’s very expensive but it was the last bottle so I’ll do some overtime to make it back. GET IT!!! Freaking amazing 😊🤤
Bro I went to macys today scent smelling to get a feel for taste. Man Azzaro wanted parfum is so amazing. Angel share kilian and oud wood is really “Oud Goodddd” lol
I felt the same way, I was waiting for that part of the reaction where he was just in “awe” or completely captivated by the frag. It didn’t seem like this one blew his mind
tried the sampler, my favourite so far (but not done). It smell divine, made for only fall and winter once you smell Althair you will understand. Longevity is insane, you will smell this for days.
I’m right there with you here in Houston. Fortunately I’ve grown to appreciate fresh/citrus scents more over the years and started starting away from the leather/ouds-guess that worked out in my favor lol
My local Nordstrom’s had bottles in stock today, they said they aren’t allowed to sell them until the 29th though 🤷🏻♂️. Bummer they wouldn’t let me smell it
Wearing this right now. It does smell like pumpkin spice. I don’t think anyone could really find this smell offensive. I have to be about an inch from where I sprayed it to actually smell it, but seems like that’s just a personal nose problem

On my skin it’s just ok… I went in Neiman to try it and came out with Mind Games Double Attack which on my skin is 🔥 You can purchase it at Neiman now but can’t pick it up until the 25th of this month
I am decanting it and was able to get it from fragrance groups on release. Im 5 bottles deep so far and its getting a bunch of love and hate. I dont see the MB club Black reference but yeah.. its vanilla but it’s definitely different. I am enjoying it alot and plan to wear it all fall/winter
I really dig Parfum DeMarly fragrances. "Pegasus" and "DeMarly" in particular. This "Althair" may well be worth checking out. You normally recommend some excellent smell goods my brother.
I have a 100 off for PDM. Im leaning either Sedely or Greenley. I’ve sampled both like both. Just wondering which one you think is more unique or if I should just say screw it and blind buy Althair. I have bottles or have samples of all other PDM scents. It’s down to these 3 for the next full bottle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I’d say greenly brother. Man I smelled that stuff the other day for the first time (shockingly) and I couldn’t help but to keep smelling the back of my hand (where I sprayed) literally every 10 minutes! That stuff is GOOD !!!
My two cents - I had Layton, Carlisle & Haltane. Then, I really wanted a spring summer PDM. After working through samples of both greenly & sedley I purchased a full bottle of Greenly. I think it’s very unique. I just received a sample of Althair. Wore it for the first time yesterday. I’m absolutely nuts about it. I don’t own anything else like it. Now I really want it lol. I also desire to have pegasus or pegasus Exclusif in the collection. To sum it up - in my opinion Layton, Carlisle, Haltane & Althair are the best from the house for cool weather. Greenly (and Sedley) are the best warmer weather fragrance from the house. Hope that’s insightful
Question. I heard Estee Lauder reformulated Tom Ford, Initio, Killian, PDM, etc. True ? And globally the main 3 to 5 notes are synthetic, scent is much weaker, and high in ambroxan ???
The moment I smelled Althair I was instantly reminded of Armani Code Profumo. It almost strikes me as a clone. Hate to say it but it does not have a niche quality at all, it is 100% a designer scent that’s been done before, albeit a very nice one.
I ordered a 10ml sample of Althair. Got it in and it absolutely looked like a 5ml...and it smelled nothing like the notes. Couldnt smell Vanilla, couldnt smell cinnamom, couldnt smell so may things. Did smell incense, which is isnt supposed to have..

Either you got it from a cheap retailer or you need to spray it again…..the first 3 sprays of any fragrance usually smells different especially if it’s a new bottle
@@MansaMusa-v5q Yeah, that was kind of the point of my post. Someone recommended the site I got the sample from, saying it was trusted, and that site sent me something else. I eventually got a real sample and I enjoyed it.
I haven’t smelled this one but the description as a pumpkin latte makes me want to stay away from it. I’m just not excited about this fragrance. If it smells like a PSL I’m good to pass on this one.
This review is wrong. This does NOT smell anything like pumpkin at all. There’s no pumpkin notes, not anything like that . I hate when reviewers get lazy or try to hype a fragrance and give misinformation. I got Althaïr last night and I’ll be honest with you , this is the greatest vanilla fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I’m on hour 14 of wearing it and I can still smell it. Bourbon vanilla, elemi, cinnamon , cardamom & praline are the stars of the show . Amazing fragrance if you like those notes. I’m 100% happy with my purchase.
