One of my favorite videos yet! You had ne laughing out loud. This is what makes makeup fun. We're not all going to like the same things. I watch ppl who create colorful looks even though I don't wear them myself. Then there's ppl I watch with dry skin (I'm oily) & there's products they dislike I love.

I like how you've applied it. I've seen a couple of reviews where people are dispointed with the pigment but I like subtle - like the koi pallette. If you used them wet theyd probably be more POW

I love pastel and sparky eye shadow. I’m paper pale but not blond so I mostly fit your description of who it’s for. Everyone I watch hates it, but the swatches are super helpful and i appreciate that you noted the quality is fine - a lot of people consider not to their taste to garbage product. I think I’ll end up getting it (just the quad) maybe next month if it doesn’t sell out.

I think you pulled the look together exceptionally well Rebecca…id certainly wear it. I know you mentioned fair skin & blond hair but I honestly think i would wear it, it came out so glamorous & stylish at the same time 🩵 ps i love pastel & sparkly 😂 even as I’m about to turn 46 very soon 😂.
Love your honesty. And you crack me up. I was so torn with this quad, went from 'no interest' to 'maybe on sale' back to 'nope'.. now this settled it (had also recreated the look and hated it on me - i sure own these shades). But i love the palette design and snatch up the Nectar one
I’m with you these bright pastels not my thing. I do like a bit of purple, pink and even possibly a blue green ( more teal maybe) but it’s the tone of these. Reminds me a little girls’ play makeup, for pretend not for real… haha 😆 You crack me up “ all this glitter “ Love the Major Tom reference btw😉 The rare beauty powder looked nice. I like the half face demo… you can really compare so thanks for that. I think red lipstick really nice on you but I just can’t pull it off. I had tried with a beautiful red liquid lipstick from Fenty a month ago… it got all over, my hands, teeth, it was a mess 🤦🏼♀️
I don’t need this Pat palette because I have the OFFICIAL mermaid-core holiday palette from Charlotte. That’s all the mermaid I need in my life🧜♀️😂😂 A super glittery balm on my cheeks is my nightmare scenario. 😱 This was so much fun!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 You made me howl with laughter! “Do I dislike these products? It’s really interesting to see how far Pat McGrath labs has fallen off. I know she lost some investors a while back and I don’t know if other behind-the-scenes is affecting her brand. As a professional make up artist, you would think you would want your make up to be wanted by all ages. I think Mario, Natasha DeNona do a great job in appealing to all ages and all buyers. When she first came out, she used to. Her brand seems to be catering to the Gen Z or like Patrick Ta for commercial wear. These new releases that are not going to be part of her formal line come off so cheap.

Oh boy it is glittery 😅 I have that highlighter and use on top of a highlighter a tiny bit cause of the glitter, that is the only way is wearable for me . As usual my 2 new palette from Pat at not even ship yet 😫 oh well , some how you make it work with this eye look ! I do miss her special Shades that’s why I jump on this quads lol , thank you my friend ❤
Mines here! I put it on and thought hmm.. yes. There's subtle and then there's too subtle. THEN I WENT INTO MY BATHROOM and the light must be optimal in there or something but it is like a disco on my eyelids 😂😂😂😂 dunno when I'm going to wear this now 😂😂
Sorry, but the Rare Beauty powder component reminds me of a toilet seat. It’s similar to the Rose Inc. component. You deserve an award for this video. That stuff from PMG……. You have really taken a big one for the team. I almost feel like PMG is trying to destroy her brand. In another couple of weeks you’ll probably find all of the PMG at TJ’s. I swatched the settings powders in store. I didn't find a good shade. One was too light, and the other didn't have a great under tone. I like how it seems to control the oil, though. That quad..yikes😊
I've not seen anything on the other quad which is odd as it went "out of stock" really quickly. Does anyone know if that's also the same sort of glittery?
I think the eye trends are moving away from all that glitter. And the timing seems odd too. I am already leaning towards more fall colors. If Pat had released this in March or April. I may have been more interested. And while you looked like a lovely glitter bomb. I am too old for those looks now lol.
Well I will say one thing, you are ALWAYS sparkly with your mastery of words, quick wit, and just overall fabulous personality!! See you have no need for a glitter palette by Ms. Pat. More and more, I’m bummed by her releases, it’s just garbage. This is coming from a HUGE PML fan. Maybe i’m disappointed because I have witnessed as many of us have her artistic talent. Now it’s just junk. It almost begs the question, is it better to have loved the original PML products, especially her palettes or never tried them at all? At this point because I know the greatness, i’d almost wish I had never fell so hard for her products, as we now know they will return to their high stature. Aside from my misgivings, I think these products are lame and out of season. Who is wearing this right now? The lipstick is OUT of this world beautiful on you!! The lip and hair are a whole vibe.

Highlighter is not new. It’s been around but I guess they didn’t do good advertising 🤷🏽♀️ I can’t remember what palette I got it with 🤔 This new palette is a pass for me.
PM has lost her magic. Idk what happened but one quad recycled former shadows and all of it is cardboard which she's never done with quads before. Everyone is waiting on a mothership palette but I truly do not believe she's coming out with one this year.

I'll disagree with the Pat McGrath palette, it's not glittery, it has enough shine, but not glittery. It's the perfect pastel palette for those of us who don't care for pastels without it being intimidating.
I'm so tired of glitter and glow it's not funny. But, like you say, some people love it. It doesn't make me right because I don't. It seems like we glow up the face, then powder it down, after powdering it down, we spray the face with a highlighter spray...ugh. I never wear pastels, my sister wears nothing but pastels. That's what makes the world go 'round. I see the world in brown, black , navy. I do love watching creators use very colorful eyeshadow palettes. Would I wear bright colors on my lids, nope, but it doesn't mean I'm not interested in the look. I'm probably very dull looking to most people because my eyelids are only comfortable in taupe eyeshadow. I would no more put glitter in the inner corner of my eyes, than walk over a bed of hot coals. The bottom line is, you wear what's comfortable on you and not necessarily what's trendy.
I would never buy it, but I am not the target market. I think she is trying to appease people screaming for color. I would like to see the numbers on how many consumers actually want the super bright colors. I think the palette would have been better if it had neutral crease color. I personally hate that all over the spectrum red pink crease color that she has been giving us for years.
