Heartseeker isn't bugged. Victimize is a separate "skill" meant to have other multipliers affect it. Blue confirmed.

That is wild. I don't know how such obvious, consistent bugs make it to live. I would think they would test out a change at least 1 time before making it go live. I can understand when a bug goes live that is an edge case that you have to do something weird to make happen, or it happens once every 100 times or something. But when something like this goes live, where it happens on almost every shot, and is obviously broken, blows my mind.

Still broken. Sometimes will randomly shoot long range arrows when aiming closer range targets, and at point blank will miss targets entirely.

Man just last night I completely reallocated skills, paragons, and gear aspects for rapid fire lol (even got near perf tempers) Now I am crying on my knees in this Walmart

I was excited to try this build because it reminds me of my OG D3 Demon Hunter build Cluster Arrow [Cluster Bomb Rune] + Caltraps. It was almost 1:1 build from D3 to D4 then this happened.

I just switched to heart seeker last night, cause of this! I've noticed to that enemies walk straight up to you because the lobbing effect goes over them even if they are the closest enemies to you

Noticed this one too. Other arrows are going elsewhere especially if they spawn other minions like with duriel half went to duriel while the rest went to the worms of duriel 😅

Thank you for making this video and reaching out to the Devs! Glad I’m not going crazy. I noticed I was not killing anything nearly as consistent as usual yesterday. I am on controller so there are some inconsistencies at times, but after the patch it’s ATROCIOUS. I thought there was an extreme damage nerf it was so bad. I even went so far as to move Edgemaster to my gauntlets and put Repeating on my crossbow for a 90% chance to ricochet. PSA: Ricochet helped a ton with mobbing. With a little modification the build is not completely “unplayable” for open world content in the interim. End game content is out of the question until this is fixed though. Good luck going over Tier 90 in the Pit or doing tormented bosses.

It was foretold: Check out the Season of the Loot poster (the one with the barb, mage and rogue). If you look closely, the rogue shoots its bow upwards, in the demons direction, but the arrow flies downwards.

As I noticed you use many different aspects on this build not only aspects when I check your guides on different sites for rapid fire I noticed that even your paragons are different I'm confused about which one I should use can you help me with that ? Which one I should prefer.

Hmmm, strangely, watching my gameplay back from todays 108 clear, post patch+masterworking I don't see this issue occurring as frequently as in other videos. Maybe this has to do with some interaction related to pointer/curser movement, in the scenarios I see arrows flying everywhere I was moving my cursor to an opposite side a mob in order to dash through them (just after firing rapid fire).

is this build dead even after the hotfix? i feel like i had to reposition a lot just so I can hit everything.

Just tried. The aim is slightly off and the number of arrows (dunno what you call it, frames?) is also a bit lowered? Even when I used the cold imbue

I took a break last season playing bg3 honour mode haha and came back playing sorc but i ended up missing rogue and the difficulty of her so im back to watch your videos haha

Latest version is fine for bosses but sucks for mob packs. It's too focused now.

i was having issues before patch while targeting ground it would sometime target random monster nowhere near my cursor. but like you said after patch for love of god any monster at pointblank or close it would just not land on him 2-3 times in row sigh. i just rerolled from sorc too and didnt wanna play the bug heartseeker expecting a nerf.

Day before patch I was limit testing lillith and was murdering that health bar. Then, I log in the next day and instantly knew my damage and arrow ranges were God awful. 30 mins later I see you post a vid LOL. Spent a week getting all this stuff and 2 days after I finally get it, build breaking bug. Awesome.

Any updates to this of when it will be fixed? I'm still using this now even in its broken state with a controller. It still melts but man I have to really put energy into being in the perfect placement to get the arrows to do what they are supposed to.

Dang, I was literally about to start this class on my Rogue too, I've been hating how little fun and good ranged builds there are for Rogue and this seemed like the one. Keep us posted please with updates on this!

this build reminded me of the detonating arrow build from last epoch... oddly enough the new patch makes it even play more like DA, really love that build, but it was just broken and nuts. Maybe blizz intended that paly style? Can't wait to log in and try it out.

Omg thanks for this, I was super confused why my master working was grayed out. Sucks cause I spent all this time working towards rapid fire. I'm not a game developer so I don't know how hard it is to avoid things like this, but It is a bit frustrating but still won't stop me from playing, haha.

I just levelled up and got my Scoundrel's Kiss, did the fix actually go ahead?... I keep having minions of hell smashing me in the face and I'm watching 3-4 of my rapid fire attempts just shoot behind the enemy whilst I'm almost at death... Almost lost my HC character, luckily had a scroll of escape.

Dude it takes me twice as long to finish pits now even after the “fix” this fucking sucks.

Yeah...found this doing some research on why my build feels so inconsistant now. I feel you about it being unplayable, you can make it work but when you see a whole rapid fire volley go ever your targets head it feels really bad. Not to mention the wild 360 volley that randomly happens. Such a shame, build was pretty fun. Hope they fix it soon.

hey lucky, would you be willing to make an updated TB build for this season capable of high pit pushing?

The hotfix didn’t really do much, but just had to evade backwards or launch caltrops for clearing out groups in the Pit 🤷 I was able to solo Uber Andariel pretty easy with the first version (not the boss variant) even with the bricking of the build, so it’s still good for bosses, but not so much for AOE.

Are there any good specific Uber uniques that can make this build better?

I noticed the same thing today on the rogue I am leveling up and thought it was me..

Maybe it’s just the proc for double cast ? Because you normally dodge after casting and your players direction is changed ?

ho boi ... aye. This is the second deep modification of this ring ... As a melee Rogue I feel the pain. Saboteur Signet is not much usable too ... they did a double fail on the new uniques for Rogue, or triple with the useless Azurewrath.

the rrapid fire normal without the granade sufix is also broken

Rapid fire with the unique ring feels actually really bad for clear. If enemies are right on top of you (which they are about 90% of the time) every single shot fires right over their head when you aim at them completely missing. The explosion radius is also rather small so even if hit something, you will kill maybe 1 or 2 other enemies. Clear is absolutely terrible.

Damn I hope they fix that for you guys I don't play the rogue but I've always enjoyed watching your videos, imo your 1 of the top streamers always explaining builds throughly and replying back to people that do ask legit questions. I would think this will be a quick hit fix. Gl and hope to join ya in a few runs

Yeah can confirm, I logged in today to see my rapid fire was shooting completely random. I'm playing with a controller, the aim was never perfect but it is completely unplayable now. When you are surrounded by enemies it randomly prioritizes some targets.

I was thinking it was just me, but noticed a big difference after the patch. really sad about this after spending so much time upgrading to this build.

Just started to masterwork and have no material to craft to get masterworking at blacksmith

My rapid fire seems fine after the patch but i'm not using the unique ring that changes the skill so maybe that is the issue.

I hope they fix this soon I'm on rapid fire rogue right now and I just want to work on the build.

I just tested this on my ps5 and it's the same. Half of the arrows were going left or right. It does spreads now.

The shadow clone also doesnt fire RF now either, he knows

The hot fix did not fix RF. My shots are missing close range and it only fires in one direction from a distance missing mob of enemies. Just got ny Scoundrel's Kiss last night, tried it and failed miserably.

I tried three times, it does not hit "corpse gate" in "bloodsoaked crag"

Got the ring yesterday from a random legion drop and I was so happy. Started using it and something really felt wonky at first, now I know why. I guess if you look at it differently its not a bug, rather a pissing while drunk simulator: it usually hits the target, but sometimes has a mind of its own 😁

I've heard turning on auto lock kind of helps the janky feel of scoundrels rapid fire. Have you tried it yet?

Yeah that irritates me! I hit for a combo total of around 500 million! But that random fires in wrong direction is dumb! The build is awesome though! I took your first video and went to town!

I LITERALLY just got the gear to try this build and respecced to it just before the patch. I played a bit and was starting to get used to it when I decided to play the sorc a bit. Now this. lol I guess it's back to heartseeker for me.

Yo, I would love to use the rf build. However, I find controlling it strange even before the patch. Thus, I’m using barrage. Now, I’m stuck at pit lvl78. Any hints how to improve? Especially the pit bosses seem to be the issues. I.e. Lacking boss dmg. Anyone?

I’ve just been on and tried my rouge doesn’t feel that bad arrows generally seem to be going were I want them….. playing controller don’t know if that makes a difference 🤔

Im playing on ps5 but it feels it’s easier to play on pc, sometimes the arrows don’t go where you want them to. I am not talking about the current bug but more less targeting specific enemies. How are you guys on console liking rapid fire ? Great content lucky i just subscribe

I haven't experienced that, but even after spending 600 exquisite blood, I still can't get the ring, so maybe it's tied to that unique?

Why can’t I kill close enemies with rapid fire?

This is exactly why I've been playing heartseeker mostly and have the rapid fire as backup. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that found aiming with rapid fire so absolute crap. Love the heartseeker tho pushing through pits 104 plus with not all the best stats or fully maxed out.

I was hoping to see some updates from you since i subbed, is RF still bad or whats the Thing about RF now? I liked it at the start but close enemys and AoE is kinda terrible on this Build. If someone knows more then me then please tell me ur thoughts :D
