NEW PATCH! IS F1 24 FINALLY FIXED? Driver Career | Part 33 

Hopefully the 2026 F1 cars will make Monaco interesting with them being quite a bit smaller then the current F1 cars.

I don't think I've seen you this irritated before Matt but I get the very point. I do want to be able to play the F1 game on my gen of console but enough is enough. A new game engine is required whether anyone likes it or not. It's really annoying that you've had this once again and it continues to be a problem 3 to 4 years down the line..

24:36 Hey Matt, first time commenting long-time viewer. Love your content! This glitch has happened to me as well. I was able to fix it by going into settings and turning on and off the brake assist setting.

Bugmasters at it again! Bugs that were fixed in previous games somehow return back. This is why I do mid session saves around halfway through the gp. Ensures that I have something to go back to if the game glitches out.

That glitch towards the end of the race can be fixed by turning on braking assist and turning it back off. It’s usually worked for me

You arent the only one to experience the safety car glitch on F1 24. I was doing my Career at Japan and I was running a P5 in a VCARB, the glitch happened to me and i didnt know what it was because i only recently moved from F1 2017. Ruined my race, caused me to go from P5 to P14, i was so annoyed and thought it was a controller problem

I have never seen any game with so many patches at the start but I am glad they are fixing it

Have to say this game is a lot harder than you guys make it seem. I mean that in a good way. I started f1 24 this week and I am amazed at everything g and how much time you actually have to put into it. You really have to take care of the car, I’ve always been a nascar guy. But after playing this game much more respect to the F1 drivers. Wow!

For a full rundown of the tires on each car, pause and go to Race Director and it shows you the full list of all drivers and their tires as well as minimal pit stop info such as if they got a repaired wing etc.

with that glitch you need to do a mid session save and exit and then rejoin the race. Everytime I've done this its worked at least on f123 so if that glitch happens again id reccomend doing that.

I didnt know about the glitch but in miami sprint i had a similar thing assumed it was due to my engine damage level but now i know about this its exactly what it was. I ended up retiring as I couldn't do anything

Matt, if you get glitches like this, you can save and quit then rejoin. it fixes it with me with red flag. I hope that you see this so it could hopefulyl fix it later on

I was qualifying for my last lap so I did a hot lap and it crashed into the back of Perez and took my front wing off before the lights signalled me on the track 😂😂

I don’t know if you noticed Matt but RB has Red Bulls colors and Red Bull have RB colors

Does anyone else have a weird glitch where the game assumes max is in first and your engineer tells you he’s in first but he’s not😂max is currently in 19 because red bull seem to be having issues but the game thinks he’s 1st

All you need to do is mid-session save and load it up

Does driver rating mean anything or is all about the car? I feel they could do more with driver rating. Like the higher your awareness is the more accurate the indicators are letting you know when another car is around you.

Mid save in the game then go back to main menu then reload... That's the way I found around it.

Maybe this glitch is fixed by doing a mid session save?

Checking the race director in the pause menu will give you a rundown of everyone's tires

Unfortunately Matt EA would never do that. Just not who they are. They really suck.

Can we stop this narrative that the EGO engine is the problem. That's like saying the dog is the problem, not the person who taught it. 1. The game has a 3 year dev cycle, This game started being conceived at the end of 2021 2. They use a BUNCH of small contracts with developers, meaning a lot of them that work on the game AREN'T familiar with the engine, and dont get enough time to learn it. 3. The Devs do not get enough time to fix bugs like this, where they need to go and re-work code that is most likely OLD and wasn't coded for things of the current era games, but the top guys will push a game earlier. Again, not the engines fault. 4. UE5 would 100% be worse, not only would a large portion be cut off but the bugs would be WORSE. Everyone would have to learn a brand new engine, the performance would be so much worse. Dirt has proven this. 5. I agree that all of this is stupid, these bugs will leave and then comeback for no reason and are TERRIBLE. But the ENGINE is not the issue, it's the code of the past that wasn't even wrote with the intention of doing all these things now. in my opinion they need to take a year out and spend that on updating EGO, specifically old code. But they wont, and I wouldn't see any other company doing yearly releases and it being any better. IT's the sacrifice of yearly releases. I'm sorry you deal with this, im sorry its a game you kind of rely on but please blame the right people, because the devs will not listen when people are complaining about the wrong things. EGO engine isn't the problem.

End of the day its a video game. And i know by them fixing things and adding things it screws up other things. Shit isn't easy and with EA breathing down their necks i feel bad for codies. This game came out way too early because EA are like sharks smelling blood in the water knowing a big payday is coming. I rather they skip a year and get it right if thats what it takes

Monaco is easily the most boring race weekend, I’ve not bothered watching the last 2 years

This guy is crying about him getting a penalty but what really annoys me is that there is no story he is fighting for podiums and wins in the 3 fastest car and makes an intentional red flag. It ruins the flow of a career mode so stupid
