@SilhouetteLifter yes some changes were made, but not everything is back to the original version tho. I don't hate the idea, but it's still 100% a downgrade.
Yeah the old one was a lot more clear just cause the contrast for me was easier to see then the new one. Looks like the new one blends in with most of the shadows in the map too
I personally think the map is probably still working progress, but I do think this version is better than the original especially for new players. That shit is way overwhelming. But I think they’re still improvements to be made to this one for sure
For those of us playing Gray Talon. Even with the nerfs, it's one of the strongest characters in the game. Spirit build can burst for 30 - 50% of a heroes health pool every 1.5 seconds. Gun build can melt even the tankiest heroes in under 3 seconds. All while receiving 75%+ lifesteal from the damage type of either build
The Yamato ammo scaling is really nice, had over 40 rounds towards the end game and it was strange not having to reload to often, parry after power slash is nice, the 10 damage nerf just means you might need a primary fire to finish someone didn’t really notice it still chunks people’s health, ult nerf is weird but I never used it for the resist anyways just to refresh cooldowns and to maybe trade one more person in a situation I was going to die in anyways. Overall she feels the same with extra ammo
Skill damage nerfs are necessary. Laning against wraith or Viscous doing 1/5th or 1/6th of your hp every time they're s1 is up was not fun early lane stage
rescue beam not requiring healing rite is a buff as its 500 cheaper. the only case where this could be bad is if your out of green slots. and even then you'd end up with an extra 250 than youd have previously.
Haven't watched any professional games yet, but do you think a "4 protect 1" style of play like 2018 og, or a "3 semi core" style like team falcons is better in deadlock.
Global CD nerf is a bad change IMHO. It’s a buff to large mag/high fire rate gun characters and a massive nerf to everyone that doesn’t have an OP weapon that relies on abilities. Game feels way worse early because of this. I hope they revert it. Laning feels way more oppressive against some characters wraith, ivy, infernus etc
The pressing the same ability activation and cancelling the ability is a really bad change. People spam ability buttons during chases or fights and accidently cancelling your ability is dumb.
Idk why they can't have this new minimap which is clearer to me, with the minion camp icons, that highlight stuff SUCKS luckily I've played a lot of the game to know where most stuff is now but shit man that highlight SUCKS
@MHScald because being down a player will be an automatic loss for the team. If you're not going to replace the player with a bot it would be better for no AFKs and give the player a chance to get back to his computer.
this gives overwatch dilemma btw. its like torbjorn is OP in lower ELO, but trash in higher ELO. greytalon also like that. you cant just balance hero using (if this hero used on low ELO his ability will be like this)
@@keykeydey1495 that’s why I try to open with his 3, the stub is just long enough for a heavy melee and once you’re fed you one shot anyone that isn’t building tank
the word "reduce" shows up 80 times in the path note while "increased" showed up 40. that plus the new mini map with the gloabal Cooldown nerfs think everyone can agree this patch is our first bad patch of the alpha test
