Me in this same situation (500 hours in) yelling at the Zombie: "Don't you break my f@#%ing window! I'm coming out!" * EDIT * I'm now 755 hours in, playing Heavy Migration settings. They gather and move as a flock, destroying doors and windows even without aggro. I no longer set up bases. I just keep moving, barely sleeping. Thanks for all the Likes, Everybody!

I absolutely hate how the game makes a loud sudden noise if you walk around a corner and a zombie is standing there or you walk up to window and open the curtain and a zombie is there, because it always scares the living shit out of me

Been playing this recently. Really fun. Most days I survived was 4 days and I spawned at a police station. Got sick on day 3 or 4 and was going to find antibiotics to help my character get better. Got swarmed at the school and died.

indeed, i have quite a few friends that wont play it because they think survival games are boring or think it looks like "runescape with zombies". others are either perpetually busy with whatever newest game is out (currently that would be baldurs gate 3) or havent played videogames in years due to other irl commitments.

I managed to aggro a bunch of zombies onto me, and I ran into a nearby garden shed, thinking they'd stop following me when I went around a fence. Just hop into a vehicle, hit W&A or S&D at the same time while shifted into reverse. Honk your horn for a solid minute at a time while speeding around in circles in reverse. Idk WHY so many games and so many different physics engines do this, but vehicles move faster/ hit objects and continue faster in reverse than they do in forward drive.
