Just a thought, but using graph paper might solve both your tendency to end with abnormal measurements and the need to edit much of your symmetry (especially on the torso). Thanks for the video!
Again... thank you thank you thank you for making these videos! They're extremely helpful, informative and surprisingly easy :D Just cut out my pattern today and hopefully will start cutting fabric a little later :)
Nekochaaan NaYu thanks very much! Next time I make this pattern I'll film it :) for the meantime I have other bases in my how to make a base plushie video :)
I need help. I've never made a plushie before, not even sew anything. The main problem is that I don't know how to draw a lion's pattern. I kinda made the design. I drew the side and stuff like that but I don't know what to do to make scientifically accurate pattern as in numbers, the length and the shape of each side. Also the shape as in will the sewn part fit together? And I'm not sure or to divide the lion body. I did not divide it by body and limbs but each side is linked with 2 limbs' side. Then I put one side of the limb on the other side. Then I guess I should just cover the bottom and the back with 2 other patterns but I don't know how to draw those 2 patterns. I only sketched them for the moment. Honestly, I barely know how to make the lion head. I'm trying to make something with a snout.
