367 miles at 70mph is a great result. Toss in the fact that it’s the best charging EV you can buy, and you get a good glimpse of where we’ll all be in a few years.
I wonder if the wheels are paired to the old car and you have to unpair them because the car is connected to the internet. I'm curious of the solution.
Taycan is the only EV that gives me hope when they force us to all go EV. Looks gorgeous, great porsche interior, still drives and handles like a porsche, etc.. love it
@@FordEnthusiast413What? The current administration is pushing with exactly that and will continue if something doesn't change. I love my TESLAs but there should not be a mandate. If they are better, they will sell on their own.
@fordenthusiast413 if the Taycan is going to be discontinued later that stinks. I also read it might be somewhere but I think only one source said that so I’m not sure if that will actually happen though.
Their is no point in an actual 2 speed in an electric car LMAO. Tesla already proved with its plaid motors that it can sustain 1000hp from 70-200mph. Below 70mph is limited for traction reasons. The 2 speed in the Porsche is a joke lol. Also something like an Ioniq 5 N can fake shifts and is super fun to drive versus any other EV. With EVs you can just fake the shifts instead of needing a real trans
@@wizzyno1566 I didn't say that. Kyle should review everything he gets his hands on. I am just making a comment that it's a great car, but unfortunately most of us will never own one.
The battery pack is not a cylinder design and may have degradation if it was like the GM batteries.... if you use what is a given to make a battery and add in carbon alignment for more density of electrons within the pack with a good dielectric cooling process using the same carbon tech then you got a higher density battery that doesn't degrade over time... should be able to get 150K ish miles pending the tech design of that carbon tubes and the conjoining components you should be good for that distance in mileage driven in time... its a lot more wordy than what I am stating here but they do have good battery tech in the vehicle but it could be better.... can't wait for 10000 V and it charges within 2 minutes.... get 2000 miles on a charge.... got a while for that to happen because any company coming out with that don't have the infrastructure in place to even charge a very higher density battery of that capacity...because these batteries aren't that large but have a higher capacity of storage.... if you saw the 3 bodies tv show... one of the physicist came up with the thinnest carbon nano tubes that can cut through a ship... in batteries if you make for a great alignment of electrons in batteries, with that tech, would mean less battery packs needed in the vehicles and more room on the inside of the vehicles at a lighter weight... or batteries in semi trucks that can do long distances costing about 2Ms per truck for the current times due to the lack of infrastructure today... but in the future if this trend continues vehicles should be of plenty and cheaper....hopefully.... the only company I can see benefiting from that battery is Tesla since they have the infrastructure already in place.... just have to make sure they can handle discharge and heat so no fires will happen....LOL
Dude comments like these are so out of touch. U realize how out of touch u sound? Ur comparing a NEW PORSCHE to a average joe brand? That's like saying why can't we all afford a Lamborghini.. its a freakn new porsche what do u expect. Not any average joe can afford one. Also for what porsche offers at their price point is a steal compared to other car brands like lambo and ferrari.

Just keep your cars. If you don't intend to keep your cars, just lease. All cars (that are not classics and rare collector editions) are depreciating investments, not assets.🤦♂️
