I'm very excited about this new project! This 1967 Corvette is going to look great when it's finished!
Follow this Corvette C2's journey!
Eventually, I will be painting the Corvette Marina blue, which is one of my favorite colors!
Thanks for watching!

Very nice 67. Free tip on the omega clip removal. Use a shop rag. Tuck the rag in between window crank and door card, sawing motion will grab and flick off clip..easy.

Try using old school method. Slide a piece of rag behind the handle from the side that the ends of the clip face then pull rag by both ends around the clip the pull back and fotth.never fails, your pick could still damage panel.

Looking forward to seeing what’s underneath. Is the frame going to be media blasted and powder coated?

Customer only requested full exterior body and paint. I believe he plans to coat the frame in the future!

Hmm, understand, but it sure seems like now would be the best time to do the frame

@@JakeHarrington Can't watch the video at the moment, but just to be sure: I HIGHLY advise a thorough inspection of the birdcage before any repairs or work is performed. I've seen beautiful cars with rotting substructures underneath that make the car completely unsafe, and every single piece of fiberglass must be removed in order to properly rebuild the entire cage. The windshield corners like to go out first, those can be fixed with minimal teardown (removal of the front fiberglass clip at the worst. If the latch pillars/rocker channels are gone at the rear, the entire rear clip needs to come off for a proper repair. All very time consuming, expensive, and it's very easy to damage the body panels in the process. Best of luck to you and your customer. I'll be sure to watch this vid later, and I look forward to seeing more content on this one going forward.
