Glad you enjoyed it! I really want to do more like this as well and I will, just sucks that because i moved a little away from this channels niche YT didn't push this video at all, but I did it for the love of the build and not YT anyway.
Absolutely Brilliant! I love how much you involved your boys in the process from design to assembly, giving them skills they can draw on later in life! ❤
Thanks a lot! They are amazing little helpers. Thank you for checking out the video and commenting. Also, thanks again for the great tips on your channel.
@@FacilityD20 For sure! I love how new ideas can build and grow as they pass through other peoples brains. It makes me so happy to see some of my techniques being used by another maker😁
Gonna be watching this episode a lot I think! You're a cool Dad. How awesome it is that you do things like this with your kids. I give this video ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 🧙🧙🧙
Thanks! This has to be my favorite project on the channel! I loved doing this one. This was the project that made me realize that I need 2 FDM printers for this whole RU-vid thing because of how long a projects like this takes.
Mate I think this is honestly your best video yet; a true triumph. It's soooo cool to see you with your kids and making awesome amazing things for them, and that skit at the end was just FANTASTIC! Please do tell them that they are stars!! Wonderful :)
I gotta say this is really impressive. I've built 2 proton packs for my friend's young son and daughter. I went all out with the sound and light electronics and essentially shoehorned the packs to kid sized. Unfortunately my mindset is defaulted to adult scale. I did make them fit ok sizewise but the weight wasn't what I wanted. On the plus side the pack that I built for his son still works fine today as it did when I finished it in 2014
awesome job on the packs. love how excited the kids were to be involved. my favorite video so far. Halloween is going to be a blast. i would just wear it around the house every day.
Dude, I watch a lot of maker videos, I have to say that you absolutely nailed this build in every stage. Simply amazing, I am blown away. I must ask, what is your day job?
Totally awesome & creative! Making stuff with the kids is so much fun but also challenging & you made it look easy! I love the look of this build and the fact you guys made it your own. I could totally see these being in a Ghostbusters show. Afterlife made my daughter fall in love with Ghostbusters & rekindle my love for the franchise. I am rather new to the maker seen but loving the hobby so far. We just completed building a rack & making the magnets to use our Dodge Journey as an ECTO. We now are moving on to customizing some Spirit Proton packs we have. I am wanting to get into 3d printing & was wondering what kind of printer you have & if you would recommend it for someone new to it? I don't have a crazy budget but I do not want to order a cheap piece of junk that will only frustrate me as I try & learn. I am willing to save up for something that will serve me well. Thank you for any help!
Thank you very kindly. I have two amazing little helpers. Love hearing about fellow Ghostbuster Fans! I would recommend an Anycubic Vyper, great printer for the price, has a self leveling heated bed, which is something you really need.
@@FacilityD20 thank you so much for responding. I don’t know anything about 3d printing but I can’t wait to start learning. Look forward to seeing your future projects!
@@samcooper430 You are welcome. I try my best to respond to people, sometimes comments get buried, so many come in from Instagram. FB, Reddit and YT... I appreciate everyone who drops a line.
They are on my patron $2 🤪 over there. Helps to pay for a roll or two of Filiment a year. Running the channel gets expensive. A few people made their own packs, which was cool to see. I want to scale this up and make a full-size one.
