They are smh. I've seen jockeys use whips to beat horse and some even use jiggers which are illegal. Get this slow shit out of here, horses have more nerve endings then us, do they fill more pain. You don't need a crop to slow down the horses, most jockeys can't ride for shit because they constant pull on the horses mouth

@@Norristhehorse00 you do Realize the whips are now made of a special foam? Why do you have to say anything when I guarantee you’ve never ridden a race on a thoroughbred? Many many many years ago the whips were made with a quarter inside of them, now they are made with FOAM the foam inside is made to Make a crackle To let the horse know “Hey let’s pick up the pace”

It might have something to do with counting the force, but if these horses are bred to run, then it's not really necessary

@jamie You may the an experienced horse rider, but do you have a gallopers license? If not, then you have no say in how she's riding. She's actually riding at a proper position, and there is nothing wrong with it. Especially if it was a stretch run.

@Kitty Yes If you were a professional Jockey, you'd like to see how a Professional Jockey looks on that thing before making purchasing plans. Also from my experience, that machine will only make your balance, motion, whipping everything involved with a real horse worse. I've been on this model also lower models. You get on this thing for a week, then get back on a real horse and race, you'd look like a 2nd time starter apprentice.

Lucy jo Burdis Ok. Well we have a ton to cover here. 1. Do dressage and jumpers raise their crop above their head and whip the horse as hard as they can? No. 2. If these horses are “bred for racing” and “love to do it” then why do you need a whip? If they already LOVE to run , then why do you need the whip?! 3. That’s why we put BOOTS on the horses legs in jumping. So they don’t strain their muscles. 4. Every industry DOES have its pros and cons, but racing is one of the big ones because most horses die from racing. 1,000+ horses die every year from racing. 50 horses die every year from jumping. See the difference?! 5. Those whips are CLEARLY not made of foam, because if you were to smack a FOAM whip against a horse, no sound would be made because of friction. And what do we hear? *SMACK, SMACK* every 8 seconds. 6. Most jockeys dope horses because they don’t want them To feel the pain on their legs breaking because they start training at 1yo, and race at 2. When they start training at the age of 1, their bodies aren’t fully developed, and starting a horse that early can damage their MENTAL HEALTH. 7. Sending horses to slaughter. Just because your horses didn’t win a race, doesn’t mean it’s “worthless” and deserves to go to slaughter. There is no reason for you to be sending innocent horses to slaughter just because they aren’t good enough. 8. And we can’t forget about the euthanized horses. In 3/5 races, at least 1 horse is euthanized because their owners don’t want to pay the medical bill of the injury. A horse can colic, and get surgery to fix it ( in most cases). But the owners are like “haha, I’m just going to kill it because it’s going to take 6 months to recover, and who has time for that?!” 9. Running horses until they die. In many cases horses heart can burst, have a heart attack and much more unfixable injuries because of the greed in people, and they always go for the gold. They will do anything, and everything for money. - did you know that secretariat’s rider killed 3 other horses because he ran them to death!? Wow that’s humane, right? This would be the “sport of kings” if people wouldn’t- whip their horses as hard as they can, drug up horses, starting horses as 1 year olds, using harsh bits, no bidding, no sending horses to slaughter because they didn’t win the race, no mistreating horses, and doing it because they love their horses, and not for the money.

Most of the time they don’t even hit the horse. They just pass it by the eyes so they can see it, but there’s a limit to how many times you can use the whip. Horse racing isn’t even bad.

A crop hurts, I know, I have done experiments on MYSELF, and horses are actually proven to have thinner skin than humans so it hurts more. I was pointing out the whip in regards to this video, but you said "horse racing isn't even bad'! do you know how many horses have dies this year from having their cannon bones explode! How many horses who are deemed "useless", are sent to slaughter! How many one year old die in spring when they are run 10 times harder than they ever will, just to impress BUYERS! Its all about money, and it shows how corrupt our world is. They could care less about the horses! Think about it like this, they ended Greyhound and Whippet racing because of how many dogs were getting injured. The racing industry is at high death rate in years, and people are doing SHIT. Friends Not Food Not the entire racing industry is bad. There are some bad people, like in every single other discipline, but not everyone does things cruelly... that’s what I’m saying. Racing crops are lighter and aren’t as harsh as normal crops. They are meant to make sound, not harm the horse. I have used one on myself/done experiments, as well.

Horses die in accidents in the wild more frequently than in horse racing per horse.. Horses get injured running around a field they love to run. Have you ever seen how horses interact they bite and kick each other and i mean really hard have you ever been kicked by a horse it's really powerful. Im more interested in stopping people abusing each other which is more often than not seen as normal. We live as slaves to money and hierarchical status we are put to work exactly like horses are people die daily on thier way to work ban our way of life its cruel but you seem to think that a choice or your Deluded to think that we are free to do what we want. If you don't like horse racing and it upsets you stop thinking about it and stop watching. Life is by nature a game of life and death. Horse racing does not aim to hurt horses in fact the very opposite to that so I really think that your view is one side narrow and based solely on the fact that you don't like what you see so you think that has to stop because it makes you feel bad. How about you change how you perceive the world and how you process it and how that effects your emotions. Everyone feels bad when a horse dies or anything bad happens but .. Its good you have feelings I think that your being guided by them rather than seeing the lesson to look around and look at all the poor people that suffer 1000s of homeless people, people using food banks can't afford to live the life that they are told to live can't change anything because of the discrimination this happens now and you want to ban horse racing because it's cruel. Race horses are treated way better by people than people treat people.
