The fact that orange was so close to overtaking yellow is insane. Yellow and purple went from discussing what to do after his demise to negotiating an arena deal with him only to be rejected. Always appreciate the fighting spirit in this game.
This should be the legend of Pumppu. He sat on island, got invaded by 2 stronger players. Became a mega nomad. Raided their land so many times. Kept his original island. Blocked purple's transport and killed his king. And could've genuinely won if he moved his king's transport.
Just to be clear, Mamelukes have not received a 50 HP increase. Yes, Elite Mamelukes had a base HP of 80, but that's without considering +20 from Bloodlines, +10 from a civ bonus, and +20 from Zealotry (back in the day these were combined to +30 for Zealotry), a total of 130 HP. Now it's a base of 90, but just a 25% (23 HP) boost from their bonus and no Zealotry, giving (with Bloodlines) that total of 133. In short, Mameluke HP has always been that high.
This is such a good Hero's Journey, albeit with an tragic ending. Pumppu really duking it out and in the end getting His prolonged life taken by fate. This is the the Most entertaining Thing i have seen for a long Time. Not because there has been no Entertainment but because this was such a great Story to witness. This is how the great Stories about Odysseus or Siegfried or Beowulf must have felt.
Don't watch a ton of community games but I love this map. Clean snipes from the south 3-er and but then there's somehow 40 minutes left. Pumper, what a legend.
33:50 Big energy of monarch butterfly remains holding open the gates of Boatmurdered. Great game with diplomacy and battles alike. The randomly-generated world looks great, and as you said, the geography significantly affected the outcome. Props to the players going for quick, decisive stabs. When these games reach two or three players left, sometimes it can just turn into 'oh, it's an ordinary game of Age of Empires now' or 'boring steamroll/stalemate for hours' or, as we saw them preparing for, 'king arena antics'. Instead, Orange made the endgame truly magical. Very Sun Tzu, he was everywhere and nowhere, always pulling out new tactics, refusing to be daunted, until finally, well. GG.
Sarge is playing the outside strategy when it comes to diplo. He's not just making arguments in his favor for the sake of gameplay, he's *playing a character* and the audience is fellow player and viewer alike; and here all the Random World's a stage.

I really like that this map is round (ish). This removes the corner advantage. I would prefer if the map could circle around (like in so many Bullfrog games -- Genewars, Populous 3, Magic Carpet), then it would even more represent a world, not a flat earth.
Pumppu played no less than like a legend, with no working economy and still surviving like that till the end. That sniping of purple was brilliant! Everyone played well, including Yellow too. FUnny to see how Sarge red sarged Ragnar teal hahaah! Orange Pumppu was a fast player here. Really enjoying these world map community games. Gg wp!
Pumppu was already one of my favorites before this video and I was so sad when yellow and purple turned on him because I thought it was over for him. Turns out PUMPPU IS A GOD GAMER
That was so anti-climatic. This was one of those games where it felt like a random nobody suddenly went all pro tryhard to win it only for his game to end in the most lame way possible.

@T90Official Around 9:00 you talked about your microphone issue. If you move your pop filter slightly off your microphone, you can still have something close to your mouth when speaking, but it pops less. (In music recordings this is done a lot because singers love to kiss their microphone ;)) Ps. I love your content, keep up the good work!
The map on this reminds me of the U.K. Green is in Ireland, Blue and gray up in Scotland, Yellow, Pink, and Teal in Britain, Red in Scandinavia, and Orange in France. (a bit of stretch but I see it :p)
One thing i dont get, is theMalai vs saracen setup just so bad? Yellow has superior Navi and mameluks shed everything? You Pumppu not Mass Skrims + Arbelast or somthing to match yellow?
T90 i have been watching you for many years on youtube and i gotta say the commy game are the best game to watch. The exploding king and 10x mod are so great. For someone like me who love the game but doesnt play anymore the more casual feel of commy game is just great. I just cant get into serious game with no diplo has much. Anyway keep it up you do amazing content ☺️
I almost exclusively watch community games and low elo legends. I don't wanna watch pro strats, I wanna watch people be sneaky and do weird things! Pro games are meh.
