What kind of spinning set up are you using for this?

Hi Kris, in the video I was using a spinning rod by dobyns but in honesty it was too small. The dobyns series fury series swimbait rods are what I run with now and they’re legit.

Hey mate I commented on one of your old videos but not sure if you still watch them. What do you upgrade the trebles on your cherry bloods to? I've gone st36 owners and still have problems. Cheers

Hi mate. Yeah I use the black and red pack Owner 2x trebles. I think they’re st41bc. If you fish em hard as they can still bend after a few heavy fish but generally I haven’t had much of a drama and they’ve accounted for some brutes ;).

@@mylurebox Cheers mate, I've been eyeing those off and ended up grabbing some yesterday so worked out well. I don't pull overly hard on 'em but the strike and head shakes tend to do my hooks and rings in. Hopefully I don't need to change the front treble after each session now ;) Cheers fella

I'm sure all these quality lures catch a lot of fish, however, is there actually a problem with cheap unbranded lures from places like eBay?

I need to see you pull out a real big flatty or a jew on this before I fork out $35 for one of these. Does the level of detail even matter? Fish don't see detail and colour like we do, there is evidence that fish can distinguish colours but they likely wont be able to see the pattern on this lure. Is this really worth the money?

You’ve raised some totally valid points Rick. I’m thinking I’ll pull a Goldy Barra on it before I get to the Jew. I’ve seen a Barra in my local come and grab it but missed the hook up. The action is definitely an impressive feature that caught my eye more than anything, finish included. I must admit when I look at a lure I often look at it for my own enjoyment without considering the colours and finish a fish get privy to. I’ll have to give it a run again AMANDA see how those big flatties love it
