The Most amazing thing about the R version of nevera is that it will retain it's full 2107 hp untill 60% battery state of charge where as in normal nevera you have 1914 hp only for 8 seconds and then it will start to decrease the power to 1575 hp and it will remain there untill it hits it's top speed,so actually this R version is 600 hp more powerful than the normal nevera . very very well done mate rimac and your amazing team . you just made history,i hope your next project will have SAMSUNG's 500 wh/kg solid state NCM battery cells or CATL's semi solid condensed NCM battery cells,therefore you can save 450 kg from the car just with it's battery pack

Worse one i met were the designers at MG while at uni. Jaguar were fairly arrogant, but in all fairness, the chief designer could be with his design record!

@@zacharyKewDenniss wasn't Rob Melville was it? He actually went to my uni, but was years ahead of me. While i was at uni, he worked at Land Rover. The designers at Jag came down (we did a live project with them) and they noticed a design he did as a demonstration for us a few weeks earlier!!

The Americans did that on a dino for three days straight with an engine in the 1930 but it made 3400 good to know every hundred years a different engine gets made and that this modern one is so much worse

Rimac is a fraud. Period. He took 180 million euros from Croatian government for developing robotaxi ten years ago. Still nothing. Made a presentation couple of months ago and robotaxi could not move. Smoke and mirrors thats all. Selling one car per year for a few million is one thing and developing a product line for big volume cheap electric car is something completely different. His father was in Croatian government 20 years ago and got a prison time for financial fraud. But never gave back a dime he took. Gangsters.
I remember watching Mate trying to build an electric BMW, putting in different off-the shelf components, welding stuff together with some elderly gentleman to try and make as much power as possible from what was basically a big forklift motor… sure has come a long way since then

First of all, I would like to address the outstanding work of the cameraman. This is one of the few videos about cars in which you can enjoy the design from every angle. That was amazing. Rimac has designed a breathtakingly beautiful and at the same time deviantly fast car with the Nevera R. This car is perfect. I hope that serious opponents will also compete in a drag race. A half mile race against McMurtry Spéirling, Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, Koenigsegg Gemera with the Ghost package (?), Lotus Evija and the SSC Tuatara Aggressor (fueled with methanol = 2200 hp) would be absolute madness. So Rimac could directly show the world who builds the fastest car in the world. In terms of design, the Nevera R has reached the top of the list alongside the SSC Tuatara Aggressor and the Apollo Project Evo. Now I just have to crack the Eurojackpot 😅 If I had the opportunity, I would buy not only the Nevera R, but also the Nevera and the Concept One.

It's a marketing trick. They admitted that the top end market, ie people who can afford to buy a car for 2 millions will not go for an electric one. This is their try to make the car feel more suitable to its potential customers

I'm a Tesla fan and hear plenty about how the designs are lacking, can't say that about Rimac though, they have nailed the looks from day 1. The first one was perfect, The R is better.

That has nothing to do with Croatia, except providing the poor conditions and bad enviroment where Mate learned how to be persevering and determened. This is credit to Mate and his team, while most fellow citizens were laughing to his vision, and goverment only cared for their own pockets. Now after world wide recognition, every Croat will say yes that's Croatian product.

He has close ties to the croation government. with his influence, croatia paid A LOT of tax payer money into Rimac. and the money will never be paid back, because the overestimated how many cars they will sell. they stopped selling the Nevera because only few people wanted it. now they do it again. The tax payer will never see his money back.

The Nevera VS the SF90 in a drag race on CARWOW. The Nevera gave him a few seconds Head start, a few seconds later the Nevera blew past him like the SF90 was not even moving. The craziest thing I've ever seen! Maybe it was actually a roll race where he gave him a head start and then blew by him like he was sitting still. Either way it was the fastest car I ever seen
Honestly the real champ here is Michelin. Rimac creates an entirely new car that is utterly insane and Michelin just goes: "Yeah, we already have a tire for that for a few years now. Maybe you should make something faster...".

I've always thought the initial front end on the Nevera was hideous, appreciated it from a performance standpoint but design-wise it felt really ugly. This performs better AND looks beautiful, really great job from Rimac on this they deserve the accolades

@ancalagon3248 yeah pretty much all the eggs are crazy. For me personally , the hyper cars are getting too straight up race car for me. Not that I could buy one but there's no "car" left. No soundeadening , very few comfort accessories. Suspension after no time will have you in traction..lol
The philosophy behind Rimac is what’s interesting to me: They try to make anything as best as they can and they don’t stop at anything. Just when you thought they were crazy the first time around, they take your breath away with the next brilliant idea. The original Nevera was a masterpiece in many different aspects, this sh*ts all over that one. Almost everything is better and the reasonings behind it as well as the extensive testing shows that these guys work the hardest and they want what is best in their products within certain confines of course This is truly an electric car that I feel really excited for. Obviously is an apples and oranges comparison between ICE and EV cars but this is only slightly less exciting than the Bugatti Tourbillon and that is saying something!

Just yesterday I watched an old video about the nevera, I looked at the car and I was amazed by its simple yet sporty design... But, this, this is just on another level. This actually looks like a car worthy of 2K horsepower...
Nevera R , for sure! on the other hand talking about the price....if a customer can spend 2 million pounds , another 300K on top of 2M feels like a good deal.

Rimac are insane, the normal Nevera was too much already for every car, that 1 is gonna be unbeatable by a long shot and for a very long time, love their madness 😂❤
The answer is that they desperately needed a styling update and had clear objectives in maintaining the use of certain components like the head/tail lamps while also increasing performance via aerodynamic efficiencies. They did an incredible job and really positioned themselves well for advancing their design identity into future products.
When the designer said that the diffuser underneath the car was enough.someone needs to tell his face that then because his face says it all It wasn't enough obviously but nothing he could do with the batteries being in the way lol 😂😂
Frankly, the design is much better. It used to look more than ordinary. Now it really looks like a burning car with a more beautiful design and flowing lines in the design.
The gap between sport- super- and hypercars is getting bigger and bigger. Ok these ,Rimac, Gemera, etc is megacars but its wierd that hp gap is over 1000 hp between a hypercar and supercar like Ferrari and Lamborghini.

People like hollywood stars, rappers and film makers. the noobs of the car world. and u are a noob aswell, because the 720s is more then 3 seconds slower then the GT3 RS on the Nordschleife, which where both tested in 2018. and over 20 seconds slower then the GT3 RS 992 which was tested in 2022. Mclaren didnt even bothered to try breaking its lap time lmao. U have no clue about cars that go fast around corners. Ur a GTA5 kid.
Rimac is Interesting. Good job on the overall package. Interior/Exterior design 10/10. Power Unit 10/10. Performance 10/10. Overall Score 100/100. Hypercar Redefined. The wing is awesome but not as badass like the GT 3 RS.
I like normal Nevera, cuz it looks more like GT car, without big spoilers Rimac Nevera - Time Attack is my favorite and Nevera that was in Goodwood park circuit this year.
Nevera R wins 1/4, maybe even half mile. That fixed wing and higher downforce will play a factor at higher speed, but it left for us to be seen. Would be interesting
The front look 100% nicer than the regular version, I never liked the big oval thing of the non R model, the R looks very aggressive, and that colour how beautiful
I was never a car-person. Definitely didn’t care enough to watch top gear etc. but this combo of carwow, mat and the rimac team is incredible 😱 the product-thinking, design challenges, engineering, production, vision etc. What an inspiration for any engineer in any area.
The new design is kind of a McLaren / Aston Martin Mix. So much better than Nevera. For the first time the looks of the car backs up the performance. Congrats to the team. They all have excelled and the synergy pays already its dividends.
