The updates have been so consistently good. Both of our Rivians are the best overall vehicles we have every owned and I cant wait to see the R2's make it more affordable for more people.
Yes I do! Santiago peak is the closest trail but I’ve done a few near Big Bear that are really fun👍🏻 Planning on putting together a video soon here with a few of my recommended trails for this area.
I accepted the software update while on a road trip. On one leg of my trip I went from Montrose to Salida Colorado. On the descend, I was cooking my motors. The temperatures read 266-273 degrees, which made the bars turn orange. I was in all purpose mode with high regen. I pulled over and the temps went down very quickly (within 1 minute). Anyone else experience something similar? I didn’t get any warning messages like limited regen, etc…
That’s interesting I’ll have to look out for this as I do more trips with this new update. I’ve definitely had the regen limit itself on long descending roads before though. If you know you’ll be going downhill for awhile I’d try setting the regen to low it’ll probably help the motors stay cool longer👍🏻
