It’s an awesome skimmer I have the same one on my waterbox pro reef 180.5. I have had a Deltec, Tunze and bubble magus in the past but the royal exclusive blows them out the water. I love it bit pricey but it’s an investment that can grow with you in the hobby 👍🏼
That’s wild that controller is the same exact and I mean exact… controller that comes with the cheap but nice $69 hygger power heads. They just put a royal exclusive tag on it and raised the price. It is just a controller I’m sure the skimmer and pump is better quality,but I’d be upset if my $1,000+ skimmer came with the same parts as anything that cost under $100.
Dang I just purchased the double cone 180 for my 135 gallon build. Total system volume will be 200 gallons minus rock displacement. I hope it won't be too big.
Was checking out the RE lineup on your site. I couldn’t find warranty info, was wondering what the warranty was for the double cone series? Thanks in advance.
It is under the Shipping & Returns section on my website at the bottom. They warranty their pumps, including those on skimmers. They provide a 2 year warranty against manufacturer related issues on RD3 and RDX pumps and a 1 year warranty on standard AC pumps.
