I’m sure you know this now not good to transport propane tanks on their side thank you for all your help with your tips and information. I enjoy your channel sending you positive energy from Malibu California.
I've learned to use non-alcohol gas in my generator (and gas tractor). If the alcohol gas sits for any length of time in your unit, it will dissolve your gaskets. And, the non-alcohol gas will store for a longer time too. It is expensive and harder to find, but your equipment will thank you.
Thank you! Some more reality that we didn’t even know about until after this video was out….we lost the remote I was so excited about 😂 might have thrown it away with the box 😭
Can't wait to hear how you guys like the Westinghouse. We had the 2000w model a few years ago and it was great. You should have no problem with your AC with that one as we could run our 15000btu AC of the 2000 (but we had added the microair easystart). I'm guessing that instructions probably mentioned that you should make sure you do the brakein process on the gen (including an oil change) before putting any heavy loads on it like the AC.
Love your videos! Are you using this same generator with your new Brinkley? Does the Brinkley have a 18,000 BTU main a/c unit? What are your recommendations for a generator for the Z3100 if we want to at least run 1 of the a/c units?
thank you!! and yes, this is the same generator we have, although we rarely use it now that we have solar. However, I would still recommend this generator if you want one to run your A/C, it'll be able to handle 1 of the units at a time on the Brinkley! (and yes Brinkley has the 18,000 BTU main a/c unit)
