Thank you for watching. Please remember to leave a like and a comment bellow. That is a big support to our channel. it helps with all algorithms things. Thank you ❤️ Ania and Bartek
I've been watching your older videos somewhat randomly and it was really interesting to run across this one, after having seen some of your during/post re-fit videos. Very cool to see how your vision transformed into reality. Thanks for sharing!
Great looking Tri! I sailed a mono from the BVI to Grenada and was always in awe at seeing them. Just something different out there. Miss those islands and there’s so many little things that you can find that aren’t touristy 🤙✌️
Thank you. Yes, we're looking forward to improving few things and refreshing the boatbas a whole after 6 years and 50 miles if abuse. Cheers mate. Bartek
Look for Recreational Vehicle ovens/ranges. Because RV ranges and ovens are usually propane powered, there is a large selection. The problem you'll have is you'll have to ship it in, probably from the US.
Ahoj! Super się Was ogląda ! :D Jesteście świetnym przykładem jak można realizować swoje marzenia. Oglądając Wasze filmiki zainteresowałam się żeglarstwem i chcę zrobić patent żeglarski aby również doświadczyć takiego stylu życia . Pozdrawiam serdecznie Kasia.
Good luck with the refit. There are a lot of improvements in the products that sailors use over the last 5 years. It would be very interesting if you could video your choices in products for the refit so we could comment on what other sailors have used and why. I follow over 100 sailor videos, probably other viewers too.
Jak to jest takie płytkie to zrobcie klip z Pucyfiku latem z łachy między Jastarnią a Rewą, to naprawde super miejsce jak na Polske. bezpiecznego przelotu!
I'm a first time viewer, I really like your show and I have a few suggestions For you Have you considered.a wrap instead of paint and anti foul? It's much cheaper More efficient and easy to fix. For your stove. Have you thought About all electric it's very efficient A convection oven microwave No more propane or gas. Also you can wrap inside the boat as well Do you have high capacity alternator? Also for non skid, have you thought about using paint and putting sand In it. It doesn't last as long but way cheaper and easy repair. Also have you thought about growing Your own vegetables on board You can check out Inverted Growing For boats on utube it works wonders!! Hope this can be some help for you Great Show Denny from Minnesota
Hi. Thank you for your great suggestions. We are definitely going down the wrap route. We already started wrapping furniture and it does wonders. We are investigating antifouling wrapping from Holland. Any particular suggestions? Any experiences in this area? We are likely wrapping the sides instead of painting. We'll look up inveryed growing for sure. Thank you. Cheers mate. Bartek
Thanks here's a few sailing shows I highly recommend for wraps The Okellys Feel the Breeze Family For electric kitchen Gone with the wynns Sailing Uma For growing your vegetables It's really quite simple the plant's Grow upside down in hanging pots So you can hang them any where Moss is best with just alitte potting soil For the non skid paint the utuber Has not put out a show in quite some time but he took regular clean beach Sand and added it to his paint and it worked extremely well. I review sailing shows for the top 100 list I can't believe I haven't seen your show Better late than never. Your camera work is very good Your editing is very good And your really likeable You have a very nice family And you are my first tri Marana So any questions about anything I can probably help you As I watch review about 200 shows I know it's crazy, any way nice to meet you and good luck with the refit Denny from Minnesota
@@dennybarlau8065 thank you gór the info and your kind words. We like Sailing Uma and his remodeling skills especially. Did you run into anyone with any info or experiences with the antifouling wrap?
Hej, hej! Dziekujemy. Remont w Gdańsku. Jeśli akurat będziemy przejezdzac kolo Szczecina to akbo wpadniemy na zlot Wagnerowski w czerwcu, albo może na Operacje Żagiel w sierpniu. Zobaczymy. Serdecznie pozdrawiamy. Bartek
Peter. Moneybis no object I wouldbstill definitely have it. It does make a difference here in the Caribbean with the trade winds in full swing in the winter. This one is the quitest one I know.. doesn't make a swishing sound at high pitch that will wręcz your nervous system.. we often hear other windvanes from neigjboring boats better than ours. So for sure if you decide on windgen I highly recommend this one despite it's producltion being lower than advertised.. Cheers mate. Bartek
P.S. Możecie coś więcej na temat kosztów? Samego wejścia w temat jak i utrzymania status quo. Publicznie, albo jakoś prywatnie, macie wybór, but do it.:)
Why not go for an induction stove, and drop propane altogether? Induction is more effective and you don't have the hassle of trying to find a place where you can fill the propane tanks.
G'day, guys. Bartek, if you don't mind me saying your idea of moving the anchor locker to the centre bow forward hull doesn't sound like a great idea to me, given that for a boat that size with the requisite amount of chain--weigh your existing 8MM chain per metre to assess the weight dynamics--with some 80 metres of chain at least required to anchor it safely in means that you will likely have too much weight in your bow section. I have long considered that there was good reason to reconfigure your current setup. You would be better served by finding room for an anchor chain locker back towards midships on the centre hull, with either a "top hat" (a construction term for a steel shaped cover, i.e. _/-\_-shaped uually used as batons for iron roofing sheets or to cover electrical and data cables at street level but alternatively constructed out of fibreglass with a S/S channel in which to run the chain, as seen on some cats, e.g. SV Zatara) along the top of the bow-deck in which to run the chain from the bowsprit roller to the chain locker windlass or have the chain run beneath the decking in a channel leaving the decking as is. This will alleviate the problem of the bow ploughing into a wave due to the extra weight, and thus subsequently slowing your boat speed and taking more water onboard, the very reason why the existing chain locker is located where it is, notwithstanding that the current angles do not make for a seamless lowering and raising of the chain without the propensity to jam in the rollers under the existing setup. Moving the chain locker to somewhere close to midships might require some reconfiguration of your present centre-hull cabin design but in my opinion the gain would be worth the head-spin such a reconfiguration would entail.
Thank you so much for this comment. I am reconsidering as we speak. The channel towards the space just forward of the mast could do it . Cheers. Bartek
There is one thing on Poly that needs no work. Ania; in 5-years she is only more intelligent, a much better sailor and Captain in her own right, an amazing Mother, and mostly more beautiful and gorgeous (if it was possible). I beg you, in Poland this Summer, no Ania retrofits !! On Poly, some things are just perfect !!!!!!!!!
Hey. Baseline is about $30k, but that could easily multiply if we go down the electric propulsion route and manage to convince more sponsors that itbis a good deal for them to invest in this project. Cheers mate. Bartek
'kitchen stainless' is probably 304 and not 316 which will last (longer) in saltwaterenvironment. Why not change to electric cooking while refitting? it is probably feasable, especially in the tropics with enough sun (and a large battery bank of say 800Ah or 500Ah Lithium)
Hej Sigi! Pozdrowionka. Bartek
Hey Bernards, this is Ania. Thank you for your concern, Its really kind of you. There are two factors here. One, the problem is that Bartek speaks much better english than me and he recognises moments when I cant express my thoughts or feeling in english enough . The second thing is in Poland its more common to speak over someone especially when we got excited about the topic. Oh gosh... We we do experience it too often. In Poland we dont consider it so much rude but of course we want to treat everybody with respect. Thank you netherless. We will try no to next time ;p Ania
@@sailoceans oh? I understand now. Well things are different everywhere I guess. Thanks for the clarification, and I'm sorry if what I wrote sounded rude.
