David Lee Roth can't sing worth a shit now, and everyone know's it. I'll say it again like i've said it before. I like both singers, but sammy was always better in my opinion and i feel i'm right considering he still has it after all these years. He's one of the most active rock n rollers out there. Where and when was this concert? Once Zep started headlining gigs, they never used opening acts. I checked Google ---- no record of this show is there. I think the party favors have clouded your recall.

That actual concert is one of Zep's most famous ever. The mayor of Tampa barred Zep from ever playing there again, due to a near riot that was caused because Led zeppelin stopped playing ---- because of a storm that rolled in, and it seems like you would have included that in your story. It's all there if you Google it. You can even view a ticket stub for the concert that LZ played that day, without mention of any of those bands you stated that opened for them. I think somebody sold you a T- shirt of a fictional event. I have read tons of stuff on Led Zeppelin over the years and this is the first I've ever heard of anyone opening for them. You can Google that as well, for authentication purposes, if you will.

There are clips of that concert right here on RU-vid. I checked them out, and not one person mentions any of the supposed opening bands. You have to admit that is a peculiar circumstance.

I've got a friend who met him recently and affirms all your assumptions here. Great guy, regular guy despite his wealth and success, and a guy who has fun and wishes the same for others.
