Honestly, its probably less of an editing nightmare to make it longer. Making a 5 hour stream into 20 minutes is hard enough, let alone the 8 hour stream this was

​​@@tnc7399r moreso the lost ones getting in your way rather than just being shoved aside like they dont exist at all. Beast Bendy has like 3 or 4 mechanics (beside the claw he has a ground pound and a freakin roar) but the game never prompts you to use them, which is lost potential imo

Getting the Ink Heart to give to Steve is enough of a trip on its own, why add a resource on top of that the player isn't likely to have on hand? It doesn't make sense.

@@VenomQuill if I remember right, a few of the locked boxes have notes/ tapes in them so as long as you interact with the right ones, it encourages you to open em all

@@0llieWells To be fair ALL games want you to open all of the chests/boxes/lockers/ect. Even trap ones, because it makes the game more dangerous, or good ones to reward you. So the game straight up _telling_ you to open boxes doesn't really matter. It's implied you should open them all. However, when you have to sacrifice a limited resource to open a box, people are less likely to open the box. Especially people who have spent an hour on a ridiculously convoluted side quest and find the room pretty much empty save for a box, that required a limited resource, and batteries, which a person had previously joked about. If the developers wanted people to open a box to get their reward, that should be part of the quest. Not something AFTER the quest (which was to bring the big guy his lunch) that's tacked on like "Oh, yeah, btw here's a seemingly randomly generated locked box, congrats."

@@VenomQuill Y'know, entirely fair. I built/ spent the resource because I had a suspicion. But you're absolutely right, and I will concede that putting THIS behind a locked box after a needlessly long backtrack is absolutely an insult to the player and can fully understand the frustration to it

@@kinnie3221 if something is required to make the game understandable and playable, it shouldn’t have been removed on “hard mode”. Def an example of bad design. It’s not like a dealbreaker, but it’s def a problem

​@@kinnie3221 The fact that the levers have to glow for a player to understand what they should do is a problem in and of itself. The root problem is just how nonsensical the required solution is. Why is the solution to hit 4 levers for no apparent reason, that summons a bigger spider for no apparent reason, that stops the eggs from spawning spiders for no apparent reason, when the immediate problem is eggs spawning infinite spiders?

It depends. Most people immerse themselves into the game a lot, so they are always on edge and jump

I dunno, I feel as though him cutting out a lot of story beats and constantly trying to break the game might lessen the story experience a bit. Not that I'm complaining. That's what spiff does. But it's not exactly the best way to experience the story

If you're gonna criticize the story at least play the game or check the whole story

@@Kyepo from my understanding both games end with a full reset and that’s in my opinion bad writing as it’s lazy and leaves more unanswered questions instead of answering others

@@needstoast It does end with a reset however it's not an exact cycle like in the previous game. It does leave some unanswered questions like how does the protagonist go back to real world after resetting the cycle, however it explains the entirety of the first game and the main plot of the second one is explained well unlike the first game or many other mascot horror games. I can agree the last few minutes were really lazy and goofy though

@@Kyepo I mean the twist on Wilson is a big let down because there just make him the villain in the end anyway. Plus some of the characters just disappear after you meet them. a example of this is the guy who teaches you how to teleport. There come back in the end section but I really don't feel like that should have been a thing in the first place considering it's a horror game.
