I drive the exact same FR modell from 2018 with the 1.0 TSI 115HP Manual Gear and its really good, almost perfect for me. The cars drives very well and the speed is insane for a 1.0 litre engine. I liove in germany and VMAX with winter tires right now is 207km/h. I didnt expect that. I totally recommend this car for everybody.
I drive the 115hp DSG Ibiza of 2020, 35K Km so far, fast for my taste, reaching 200Km/h easily, wind starts become noisy after 150Km. Wonderful mini car, superb handling for its category. I changed the interior from plastic to (fake) leather, added a red note as well and put some LEDs since it had the old halogen bulbs (didn't want to wait for the LED version). What i want to get next is the hybrid Formentor, time will tell on this one.
I have, seat ibiza 2017 115hp. Nice and very fast car. 63000km without problems. Fuel consumption is 6,5 lt . Very good choice ibiza! John from Greece!
@@justanthplays3154 Yes, I agree, but we are talking about a car that costs a little. An everyday car. Now if you spend a fortune, then yes it is a snail as you describe it
your cameras are great quality I really appreciate the videos saves so much time visiting dealers and looking at cars which the manufacturers have cut corners on quality
Thanks Tom for support and nice words. 👍 🙏 I try to have always the best cameras. Also all Test Drive videos that will come from now on they are filmed on a new camera with much better quality 🙂
Isn't FR supposed to be like a fast one? And what's with a price, it's in dollars, so that's about 30500 euros, for Ibiza with three cylinders and 115hp? Am I missing something here?
All 3 cars are great with different characteristics… now depends also on budget and personal preference plus needs…. I will get Jazz for economy and Ibiza for looking and driving feeling
When I connect my phone with android or ios operating system to this 8.25-inch multimedia system, a black unusable bar appears on the left side of the screen. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? It is very annoying.
The 3 cylinder from 2016 and up are super reliable. No issues at all given the fact so many are sold. They are nothin like the 1.2 and 1,4 TSI problem engines from the past.
Aside from the improved dash, what is actually different here than e.g. a used Leon mk3 FR with low mileage? Don't know about it but 30k for a car whose more upmarket(?) predecessor rarely topped 23k msrp sounds like a bad deal. Only advantage that I can think of is that you have 5 doors in a small form factor, whereas the similarly sized Leon coupe has only 3. Interior quality also seems like it was similar or better in the past (I'm looking at the cheap looking seats and red vents). The other thing is the engine, 1.0 tsi is a good 3 cylinder engine but it's weird it's in the sporty variant. Leon FR had the brilliant 1.4 and 1.8 petrols that really offered some brilliant performance, especially if a good chip tuner put their hands on it. If I were buying, I'd wait for a good condition, low-mileage 2015-ish Leon FR and use the remaining 15-18k for something else.
Oh man, you are the greates car viewer on RU-vid! =)) Really! And your accent is so... comfortable for understanding ))) Im from russia and my english is not perfect and it is a bit hard to understand some other viewers. Not much reviews of this car on russian i have because this car doesnt sell in russia. So I glad to visit your channel. Subscribe is on! Thanks for review! The car is great! Now I drive Ibiza 2017 in Turkey (not FR). And it is like sport car too. Not so soft as I like but it is so good quality car. It is comfortable on every day, it can be sporty if Iwant, it is very beautiful (not like VW). A lot of functions and price very good! I think this car is one of the best in class right now. Maybe THE BEST. I think it is right VW for modern people! =)
Got a 2023 110hp one few months ago and gotta say I love it. Compact but enough space, fuel consumption is good, interior is awesome. And 110 is totally enough to overtake safely. Before i had a bmw 520d with 177hp from 2008 (new price was 86k) but I gotta say I love this „cheaper“ Otter brand a lot more.
I'm probably going to buy a used model from 2018 but can't really decide if it's worth it buying the 150hp version for a few thousand extra? Would be used as a daily driver, what do you think?
@@SDADanCars Thanks for the advice! I think i will probably just see what's up for grabs and if the price is not too big of a difference take the 150hp, otherwise the 115hp. Read that the fuel consumption is almost the same because of the 150hp being able to shut down a cilinder when staying in the lower revs.
@@drareg11it depends on variant. Price for Seat Ibiza start from 17k Euro for the reference variant which is the cheapest but Seat Ibiza Fr Variant or Fr pro black Edition Variant are really expensive, around 30k Euro.
im baffled they use the same ancient gear selector on a 2022 model. sure if its not broken dont fix it but the golfs and polos have smaller, neater ones now dont they?
@@SDADanCarsThis is also shift by wire! Else you would not have steering wheel shift paddles! All shift signals digital... Small Button or big Stick... Unimportant! The "old" Stick gives you 3 Option to shift! Auto, with Stick manual or with shift paddles. Thats is a very sportive solution! .. The New small plastic sticks are only one thing: cheap!!! (manufacturer saves some Euros)
man...i own a ibiza cupra 6L....20VT engine....and it went from this to FR basic models 110hp.....this is shit man...seat climbed many steps all these years to throw them away with this shitbox....this is a town car for groceries....not ''for racing'' now we must look for new cupras at cupra to get a real performance car...
Yes I try just to present cars and I really liked alot of things.....I hope people can get some useful info from videos. I try to say also bad things or what I dont like
