I found shimmer strike to be powerful only in certain situations. shimmer strike cannot attack anything but specials and elites, so dual dagger is a better choice, but it is hard to control the whole game with dual daggers. Of course, this is only for SOLO.
Summary about shots fired with Moonbow and ammunition spawned within reach 13 shots 1:25 box ammo 12 shots 3:22 ammo pack 11 shots 3:55 ammo pack 46 shots 9:34 box ammo (boss) 39 shots (16:04 no box ammo xD so final event without resupply, also bit heavy spawn of horde at stairs choko-point) 15 shots 18:05 box ammo (post final event) after that while running from Rogrer I stoped counting For This difficulty and solo-mode Shade seems kinda balanced... (edit) NVM just watched Shimering Strike part... Fucking knew its broken buff, lol. Still looks ridicilously great while solo And given the power niche of each class they created I doubt V2 CAN be balanced in any way for squad/coop mode And given devs focus on balancing Cataclysm, Legend difficulty will be doomed into being harased by selfishness of people with overpowered classes that will be killing everything and rushing solo (while playing public-coop games). Guess Vermintide 2 is just a good game with bad coop Anyway, GG chocoB, as always :)

He went into stealth (the shade mechanic where you can enter stealth by parrying and quickly dodging, it was added in the rework). The rats stopped because there was no other target for them. The same happens with any other character going into any form of invisibility if there are no other bots/players in the enemies' range (shade/handmaiden/ranger veteran/huntsman ults, stealth pot in chaos wastes etc.).
I'm looking forward to getting good at longbow headshots again, i remember really enjoying it. Seems like it can compete with the moonfire now. Reackon this is viable with spear? It does it not hit high enough with backstab? cheers!
Its a shimmerstrike clip, which you get at talent 30. That allows shade to stay in stealth every second you kill an elite. A lot easier to do in solo since AI stays still so you can identify which enemy is an elite.
@@PaulJackson "BuT ThE InFiNItE aMmO" bruh I actually hate when they sprout that out. I think a bit of the damage reduction on the actual main hit would've been fine like make it 2 quick shot + a bit of the dot to kill an elite rather than one but now it takes literally 3 charged shot and the full DoT damage to even kill a stormvermin and 3-4 for most specials. It's ridiculously bad compared to javelin staying the extact same for some dumb reasons...
@@PaulJackson Also charged shot in to head don't kill, for me trash, I prefer kill confirm like longbow, because "killing" Via moonfire bow is kinda pointless dot work too slow and special die from teammate shot ,instead of you're arrow...
@@PaulJackson On cata 4 charged arrows for one, single armored rat, I dunno I don't feel it. I also don't like how "op"is javelin in compare to longbow...
That was the patch I've lost all hope in modders, whose hands the game balance ended up in. Shade got literally all but one of her buffs that made her viable over the years reverted, while keeping all of ther nerfs intact; SoT got reworked because green circle farmers were complaining, I guess; meanwhile, the actual overperforming classes, like BH and BW, that haven't been touched in years, were just swept under the rug yet again. I really hope FS strikes a good balancing middle ground with DARKTIDE before they have to put that game on life support. It'd be very unfortunate to see a second round of unqualified community moderators making balancing decisions for a game they barely play.
New shade is busted as fuck. She honestly can take the fun out of the game. When a character can deal 60% of damage to a boss or wipe out a patrols in 2 seconds it kinda makes the game booring.
