I really appreciate the fact that you point out that you are not 20 something, it helps me so much. We are the same age and I was so tired of watching foundation reviews where no one mentions the lines on the face. I have a LOT of small wrinkles under my eyes and finding something that doesn't do that is my quest at this point. You are very lovely.

YES PLEASE TARA!! I would love to see you film a side comparison using the Tom Ford foundation and the new Shiseido foundation! When I first starting watching your video I was thinking what is on Taras eyes and I was hoping it was the new Tarte palette, I loved 🥰 your review on that palette so I purchased it. It’s really pretty! I was watching your IG stories yesterday and you were showing our favorite store Vici’s new January Edit collection and thank you for posting that peachy/rose tee (I bought it) would you film a try on haul?! I want to get a few pairs of their lounge sets but sometimes the sizing is off. I really appreciate you and all your hard work. Yes, HARD work! Your honest and thorough reviews are beyond helpful. I have been a follower for a few years now. I have similar requirements for the look and performance of cosmetics. I have purchased and loved so many products based on your reviews! I’m also 43 and my skin is constantly changing. What worked for me in my 20’s and 30’s are no longer options for me. I am on the look out for a good option for humidity. I will be doing some traveling this summer and I need a foundation that will hold up but also look soft and youthful. My skin tone and texture are similar to yours. I don’t do full coverage or matte foundations because they age me so much. Can you suggest a good option for what we like in a foundation but will hold up to humidity?

I haven’t tried this foundation yet, but the synchro concealer is one of the best concealers I’ve ever used. Highly recommend!

As always, thank you for your very thorough and honest reviews!!! I have the original Shiseido Syncro Skin, and love that in the summer (combo/oily). Also currently loving the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate for special occasions and in the winter when I'm more dry (have not tried in the summer yet). So...very curious as to how the New Shiseido and the Tom Ford compare!!! XOXO...

Thanks for reviewing this! I bought it a few weeks ago and really like it. I was wearing it every day and then one day I used Tom Ford Soft Matte and noticed that my skin looked even better late in the day than with this one. Same goes for Chanel Ultra LeTeint. So I like it but it’s not my favorite. My skin is normal by the way. Edit note: I just got to the part where you compared this to the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate. I don’t love that one for some reason and have always preferred the Soft matte 🤷‍♀️

You look stunning! Have you ever tried applying with your fingers? Shiseido does recommend applying its with your hands, and I must say I love it. It melts into the skin🥰 (my skin is normal to dry) I only use like one pump and maybe like a quarter of a pump for my full face, and it looks amazing! Haven’t tried it yet with a brush or beauty blender. But thought I would share😊 Thanks so much for the thorough review!

Oh I am curious about the new Sephora foundation. I've heard great things about it❤ The snow, it's crazy because normally around this time of year we have walls of snow, sometimes 7 feet high. We haven't had this low amount for several years, some are saying a decade. But, I'm not complaining even though we NEED the water 💧 I'm enjoying a little snow in January 🤣 Thanks for watching❤ Have a great week💕

I’d like to see a comparison to TF! I live both my TF stick foundation and Traceless Soft Matte foundations. I want to try the other one, but $150 was a little too steep for my liking🤣

Love your videos because your reviews are always so honest ... I am looking forward to purchasing this foundation to see how well it looks on my skin Excema prone. I take good care of my skin so hopefully no major dry patches will shine through In regards to the smile line wrinkles I am just going to get fillers for those areas because no foundation is going to help cover up our smile line wrinkles so I have come to peace with that 🤷🏻‍♀️ Best & see you in the next review !

I'm going back over reviews to pick up some foundations during the Sephora sale (and right now with 4x points on foundation). I've been thinking about this one for awhile, not sure why I'm hesitanting... I recently reviewed Dior Glow, I liked it but not loved (maybe cause the shade was off). So thorough, as always! I have normal/dry skin and the original works fine with my skin. I use 1.5 pumps, the milk primer, mixed with a luminizer (Becca, Dynessa Myrick) with all my foundations and so far, so good. Just wanted to share for others. ☺️

I bought this foundation after watching this video, but for me I found this foundation really drying. I usually use Chanel Les Beiges which is more expensive. So was looking to save money. I did the same - half on one side of this one and the other half of my face with Chanel. The only way I can explain this was that after about an hour the Shiseido one felt powdery. After 2 hours it felt dry. I have normal skin, never have breakouts or dry patches. I usually like a hydrating foundation though as thats the look I like. I am having to send this one back, also I would be careful with the colors as I feel they are darker than the color chart. For me I think this would suit an oilier skin.

I haven't worn the Nars Natural Radiant Foundation in awhile, but I would say this one is a little more Radiant than the Nars. The nars on me is more Soft Matte with a little Radiance. This one from Shiseido is more Radiant, but I would say the Nars probably lasts longer but they're both the same coverage 💕 Hope that helps...

I dampen it. Run it under the water and squeeze out all the water. For me it works the best having it dampened🦋🦋 Hope that helps❤

Hey sweets. I actually don't love the Armani foundation, I've never been able to get that foundation to work for me. Though it's loved by so many🤷‍♀️💜 But as far as how this foundation compares to those, this foundation is more Radiant than those 2. I would say , same amount of long-term wear, same coverage, but this is just more Radiant... Hope that helps❤❤❤

I got it I love the original. When I first put it on I was like woooooo this is way too dewy. Then I was like maybe I put too much on. I redid it with much less and it’s great!
