I actually pronounce it Bil-steen. Anyway. That is actually the first upgrade I did to my 2000 Tahoe Z71. Actually the factory Bilsteins are in fact yellow with a black dust cover. Mine were the originals when I removed them. It looks like the previous owner of your Tahoe had them replaced which tells me they took care of it enough to spend the money to buy the bilsteins. They’re a great shock in my opinion and like I said I had mine changed out immediately when I bought the Tahoe in November. I also have a 99 Escalade that was also equipped with Bilstens from the factory and I had them changed out on my 99 OBS Sub 4x4. I love them. I love the way they feel on the highway and on uneven roads as well. My next upgrade is tires. I may be looking into the factory size BFG AT’s soon

@@mrrooney9450 I have had BFG AT tires on most of my trucks. Great tires. I’d have to be hard pressed to switch to anything else. I may get them for the Z71 if I don’t go for General Grabber AT tires. The Z71 has General tires on it now, but they are highway tires. So far the shocks have been great on the highway and around town. Haven’t really done much else with it yet. Good to know they may have been replaced at least once before I bought the Tahoe.
