Man, that built in harmonic trem that goes to uni-vibe territory is amazing! Besides a tube screamer type thing it's my favorite effect. There's no other modulation that is better than an authentic sounding uni-vibe to me! That's great. Love Greg's playing. And those fishmans... man!

how did it take so long for "the greg" to happen?...a no brainer ...it sounds damn good to me...both channels...(although if he plays through a crappy crate amp it's probably gonna sound good...)

This amp sounds amazing, looks great but has more knobs than a stealth jet! I hope it comes with a "Dummies" manual or I will be there for years trying to figure it out. I always liked Mansquatch's idea of one large knob for "MORE" - the feature I have been looking for over the years!!

Is there an effects loop? There was no mention of such. Thank you for the demo. This amp is somewhat unique, especially with full control over the reverb and both harmonic vibrato and standard tremolo. Having a front and top panel was a good idea, too.

I am so happy for Gregory ! At last signature amp for this amazing guitar player ! He deserve his signature amp years ago ! He was brilliant playing Fender amps and made their amps advertising ! Shame on you Fender factory !

Der Amp klingt richtig gut. Ich bin auf den Preis gespannt. Was allerdings komisch ist, wenn hier im Clean Kanal Drive und Volume auf 12 sind ist der Amp dann nicht irgendwie leise? Oder kommt einem das nur so vor in dem Video?

I always prefer the cameras microphone than the close mic'd amp.. everyone should blend the cameras microphone in to give what you'd hear if you were in the room to get a more accurate feeling if the sound. Come on peeps!!

Wish I could see the dBA meter during the video. Would have liked to know how loud it was to get those sounds. Sounded huge!

Sorry for the bad placement of the db meter - is there a particular sound in the video that you would like to know the loudness of? Basically, we were in half power mode most of the time which was around 90-100db. //Philipp

I also think that when a person plays anywhere near as well as Sr. Greg Koch, they can make any amplifier sound great. I used to have a truly amazing guitar player in my band, and he would always sound brilliant regardless of the exceedingly mediocre guitars and amps he tended to own.

Greg's other demo sounded better, in part, I think, because he had the eq set up to his preferences rather than at 12 o'clock. He also played louder on the other demo. Louder is mo' better.

Not sure about Greg, but our Coat of Arms (Dolf Koch is my father :) ) has a ladle - or large spoon - in its shield. So i guess it's a nod to that, yes :)

If the wood meets the usable threshold to build an electric guitar then the species of wood does not make a discernible difference in the tone. Surprising how some very fine guitarist like Greg Koch have "faith" the wood makes a difference.

After watching the first video I though: I will buy this amp! After watching the second video: I buy this amp. But after watching this video my mind has changed. It does sound great and the features are good. But... When you listen carefully you will hear the notes sound "thin". It isn't that fat like a fender clean amp or a two rock. In the mix it still will be great, but as a stand alone amp it can be annoying.

I appreciate your opinion and the analysis - but I must say that RU-vid is a very poor platform for conveying all of the tone you get from a guitar amp. I would never have gotten my Fender Princeton if I had relied on RU-vid, and my Princeton is wonderful. Just a thought. Good luck!
