I’m going to test drive one of these in the UK very soon. The Sportline model looks great in my opinion, with the exception of the horrible 20 inch wheels with the plastic aero covers. It’s good that the Australian market gets a 7 year warranty from Skoda. We get a pathetic 3 years with most brands in the UK.
I love how they looked at the new Tiguan interior and said "we can do better". First they ditched most of the glossy black plastic and the RGB lighting, then they took VW's single gimmicky "mood changer" knob and turned it into physical climate controls. Just wish they made a shorter 5-seat version (non-Allspace Tiguan size), to replace the outgoing Karoq without going full Elroq.
VW and Skoda both have dealerships in my regional "town", whereas Cupra are still nowhere to be seen (garage or cars on the road). Sounds like we agree on the Kodiaq being too much of a 7-seat specialist and the Tiguan being the sweet spot in size.
I’m glad I don’t have to have a petrol engine in this car because the 2litre diesel is an absolutely superb option. Needless to say I don’t live in Oz!
