I love Rambouillet yarn! And you could make a hat with your 2 skeins of worsted! I love a good squishy worsted hat! And I’m in South Carolina and it’s definitely not too warm on the occasional 2 days a year a hat is warranted 😅
Hi Liz, I love your projects cross stitch, quilting and knitting. Would you consider doing a tutorial on the magic loop method for making socks? I find your tutorials so much better to understand . Thank you for ALL YOU DO
Liz, your sweater is beautiful. I can not believe you made that in such a short time. What you’ve accomplished in 6 months or so would take me 6 years. 🤣🤣 You knitting is great. Have a wonderful week. Happy Birthday to your Mom. Hope she’s having a great time on her vacation…..Debbie
Liz thank you. I also can’t stop kitting socks and a sweater, cross stitch and right now I making a blouse because I accidentally watch a sewing you tube. Another rabbit hole. I’m living it.
Aww, happy birthday, Momma! My dad's birthday is also April 7th. He turned 92. ❤ I love your knitting projects. I'm a crocheter, but I would love to learn to knit. Your tension looks beautiful.
Great sweaters. They are getting me inspired to knit a dk weight stripe sweater come fall. Check out the Sommerknus top for your weather. Size 7 needles, easy pattern that changes in linen/cotton blend. I’m using Sandes Garn Line.
I love your sweater ❤. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 I hope you enjoy your stay. Is it possible to fix the stitch with sewing up the missing half stitch with yarn and a darning needle. 😊.
thanks for the happy vibes! Love your enthousiasm. For the woolberry: maybe consider a two-color brioche shawl or hat. Brioche works much better with non-superwash yarn and these colors would work great together! And brioche knitting is fun and sweet.
Another great video Liz and your knitting is so inspiring. Really nice job on your sweater…it looks great on you. Can’t wait to see the T and all the other Knitting with Olive yarns you bought.
It tickles me that a such a tall girl is knitting so many patterns from “Petite” Knit designs! I love the Tshirt pattern. I have a really tough time wearing any kind of wool against my skin but the cotton merino blend might be ok. Lots of great colors….especially that orange silk! 🧡🧡🧡
Ooh I’m a new subscriber and I love your channel. Your finishes are beautiful! I wondered if I could ask two fun questions for your next knitting video please? Out of all the sweater patterns you’ve knitted … 1. Which is your favourite and the one you would knit again? And 2. Which one would you say was easiest to recommend for a beginner to try? Thank you so much! Have a lovely week x
Thank you!! In case I forget to answer ona video, my favorite sweater I’ve knit so far was my Lyon sweater, I think it’s my favorite fit overall and the neutral stripes go with everything, but I think the most basic beginner friendly sweater I’ve knit was the stripe hype!
Love your sweater! You may just slip stitch a nice crochet edge along the collar join to fill in the gaps that you see, not that they are noticeable! Enjoying your knit vids.
I hope you get a laugh....so I don't knit, I have tried so many times over the years...but my sister does! I love watching about knitting and crocheting from my talented stitching friends and soooo after watching you this morning I set up a Ravelry acct and ordered the Sophie scarf by Petite Knits and am going to send it to my sister to knit for my birthday in Nov...it's a big one (75) and I REALLY would love to have this scarf! Crazy huh? Well will let you know if this works 🤣 Love you ❤
Just adore your haul choices!!! I love those colors but all I do with yarn is make cording for cross stitch LOL. However, when I retire I will make myself some dang socks!!! We are in the zone of totality here in NE Ohio too. Hopefully we don't get too cloudy as April in Ohio is usually clouding and rainy. Hugs from NE Ohio.
Love the sweater and I get the easter egg name, but truly you don't look like an Easter Egg:). It is a beautiful spring sweater. Happy Eclipse! My husband is one of the tourists who came to Austin (from Canada) to enjoy and spend the weekend and run the 10K with his niece and stay for the darkness. Please forgive the influx.
re: rowing out -- have you tried knitting backwards/mirror knitting the ws? I was having the same issue, and this has made a huge improvement for me! I think the similar yarn throw motion is key.
I am so jealous of your sock knitting. I would love to learn sock knitting. Sadly for me I have to wear compression stockings and cannot wear regular socks. I miss it so much.
Your sweater turned out so good! I really love the self-striping yarn socks, too. You inspire me to keep learning more with knitting. Are you going to be doing any yarn advents?
If you were a complete beginner, what is your top yarn pick for socks? What about a sweater? Any suggestions from you, or anyone else would help a ton.
my favorite type of yarn for socks is a fingering weight yarn made specifically for socks, usually 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon, a ton of different brands make sock yarns! My favorite sweater yarn is always 100% superwash merino yarn, and I prefer dk weight for sweaters!
