@@Ultimodestructico Looked it up and you right. The smirk is a nice new touch to the animation at least. Never actually played Raging Blast myself. Tenkaichi Tag on psp is last DB game I played
I was honestly getting scared we werent going to have things like Early/mid/late/super characters and only have like goku blue. I personally prefer playing early goku for the kioken so its nice seeing thats a feature
Just want to point out that considering the lack of overall "large" characters in DB, it doesn't make sense that they would only develop Great Ape Vegeta and that's it...I'm very much expecting Hirudegarn and Lord Slug among other movie characters :)
I'm pretty sure we still have something like 80 characters to introduce and most of the main cast has already been done, so I am expecting movie characters, but maybe not many of the OG dragon ball characters like BT3 had
@@Ultimodestructico even in the old BT games, Dragonball would get a small section playable at the end after finishing the story from Z. I imagine if anything we'll probably get kid goku and demon king piccolo, but probably not Android #8, Chichi, General Blue, Grandpa Gohan, or Devilman. I like Dragonball, but it was really more of a comedy series than an action series, which is why most dragon ball games skip it save for maybe the last couple arcs where it ramped up
It feels like the series improved a lot in character presentation and small events like the tournament arena clearing, which is awesome btw., but not at all improved the damage system for the surroundings. It still feels as if the surrounding is just a plane field with lego buildongs on it.
It's a good start to better one In the future. Where they can add getting damage from the environment. They need to get to that level of destruction like battlefield or The Finals. It will feel more impactful smacking dudes through multiple buildings miles away.
1:09 kamehameha wave he used to annihilate the Goku Black half of fused Zamasu during their beam struggle even though it was Goku blue who shot that kamehameha wave originally
Tekaichi 3 had a massive roster and it was a damn PS2 game you can’t seriously think we won’t have a jam packed roster for this return specially since Super is hot off the press.
am i the only one who is so damn sick of seeing goku and vegeta gameplay.....??? Dragon Ball has so many cool characters.... and all you get are those two or their fusions...
I love everything in seeing but i haven't seen anybody really doing any nasty combos dat I use to do in tenkaichi budokai 3... lik mix ups of lows and overheads... right now it's givin alotta spammy bs kinda like xenoverse... and I haven't seen a single clip of anybody doin the quick time dodge move that use to be when u pressed cicle and triangle 2gether... im still on the fence 🤷♂️
Some gameplay looks janky AF. like dashing towards your opponent looked better in previous games (IMO). I hoped they didn’t rush this and took time to polish it
Idk the excitement for this is going down for some reason, its gonna suck if half the roaster is just variation of the same character where as most could've been compacted in same character( with this exception for dbz characters like super vegeta and freiza saga goku super sayin.) However if they do this the roaster better be huge! I wanna se diversity thats one thing dbz has over others
@starbolt293 other way around for me. God form was too similar to kaioken in it's colour but blue was something refreshing, especially the resurrection of F movie. Although they ruined and overused it in the series.
I don't see how. The likelihood you'll be able to use both of them is pretty low considering even a 3 bar special will leave you with barely anything left to use an ult or even close the distance on someone. You'd pretty much just be throwing out an ult just to get it out
They lied about fights being capable of happening on the ground. Seems like jump force is the only tenkaichi like anime/ dbz game where you can fight on the ground without constantly flying. Dissapointing development choice.
You can absolutely fight on the ground, but not any person playing these demos will know of the greatness that is "charged jumping attack". Other than that though, all the combos are the same grounded or flying anyways, so nothing would change anyways
It's wild that they didn't even remotely think of making local multiplayer an option until the very end of development. I hope they get their shit together and actually make the split screen work on other stages with reduced effects for visibility
The game definitely has improved over the last tenkaichi like games, but still it lacks a proper system for enviromental destruction. The buildings crumble like Legos and the ground doesn't react to the characters and their impact, be it punches or beams. Like when a beam misses, why does it not destroy the background like in the series, with let's say a mountain cut in half. Some explosions are also not fitting for their attacks. If they would improve upon those aspects, the game would feel much better.
Fr, people don’t get it. There to stuck on the graphics like it’s everything 🤣. They ignore the mechanics of the combat combo’s, and just looking less tenkaichi and more like raging blast, Kakaort…etc.
