Yeah, it's powerful enough to break blocks, but like the Rock Mushroom is too fast and hard to control. They have the same concept really, but I think it works better in 3D than small screen 2D. This was just a chaotic headache of a power-up that I used purely to access areas.

i was bored out of my mind because of quarentine, so I picked up my wii u and decided to play the Super Mario Bros. on the wii, since there is a wii menu on the wii u so we could play Wii games. And oh god it was fun, we screamed and yelled and we decided to make it even more fun by just speeding through the courses, even if we lost our lives and had to restart the world, it was really enjoyable.

I kinda liked the series tbh. I was never really bothered with it being the same stuff, because that's what made me like the games. It was the same stuff only on different systems. I liked that, but I can see why some people might have a problem with it.

I'll be honest. I enjoyed these games quite a bit. They were all fun in their own way. Plus nostalgia if I'm being honest. I also absolutely adore NSMB Wii's soundtrack.

Same, I really like these games especially for how challenging they can get. Tbh I still come back to my Wii & Wii U every once in a while to play them simply because they're just a damn fun time for what they are. (Also I always thought the koopas dancing in sync with the music was a really dumb but charming touch)

Tbh I think the new series is more a series to make memories than for actual quality gameplay. Its like the mario party series. U play with ur friends and then hate em for killing u all the damn time and never see each other again. Thats wat these games r all about.

I once got so mad while playing New Super Mario Bros 2, I took out the cartridge, placed it in a cup of water, and put the cup in my freezer. Surprisingly, after I freed it a week or so later, it still worked.

While the blue shell is pretty stinky in the main levels, in the multiplayer star battle, this thing is top tier, it's like the golden gun from Goldeneye 64. All my friends would refuse to play the ice level because it was just too good when in the right hands.

And then there's NSMBUDX, which as far as I know just adds Toadette and a power-up exclusive to her. Wonder on the other hand will definitely be a real breath of fresh air
