The SVS Ultra Elevation speakers are part of the new Ultra Evolution speaker line.
This is their most ambitious launch in SVS history, but from what I'm hearing, it doesn't seem like a gamble at all.

For perspective, I would choose dual PB-1000 Pro's over a single PB-16 Ultra. That's how important matching dual subwoofers are.
As for the Evolution Series speakers, this was just a taste for me, with the best selling speaker SVS makes, the Elevation.
The Elevations are often combined with several different brands of speakers, simply because they sound great, impart very little flavor to the sound, allowing it to blend with nearly anything that is halfway decent.
As good as these sound, I understand why the Evolution Series is getting such rave reviews.
Legitimately, I couldn't think of anything more I'd want in this speaker. It's been a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if these have a better sound than the outgoing Ultra Bookshelf speakers. That's saying a lot.
