Also the thing that shows the damage dealt is also broken, I was wondering why my pursuit wasn't dealing damage and then I saw my teammates minigunners, mortars and accels and didn't had damage dealt
For anyone wondering alot of these bugs are often due to the age of the game, older games like tds can run into problems where the games coding tends to break when trying to change or add new code onto it due to previous code either not being up to date or coding scripts being too long which can cause breaks, this is also why old or no longer updated games can be very broken since no maintenance has been done to keep it up and running
No. Just wrong man. Ranger's AI is probably trying to find something it shouldn't or deleting something it shouldn't, causing it to halt operation due to something being missing.
You know, tds is a buggy mess when the bugfix update ends up adding more bugs rather then fixing bugs, I really suggest updating monthly rather than weekly
Bro his goofy fixes added even MORE bugs, so now Medic technically deals more total damage than Accelerator, btw ranger max level not shooting is true, like man I was playing badlands with same strategy, and gunslinger had 89k when entering the base last time, this time he had 200k, and all my ranger were maxed, so yeah use mortars now
More bugs: Cowboy & Ranger: Total Damage meter doesn't go up even if they kill Necromancer: at max level when the max level graves the ones that make lightning gets activated by "Raise the dead" ability only one skeleton is spawned even if there are a bunch of max lvl graves I prob missed some but oh well
Necromancer is broken too. At max level when I used the ability it didn't spawn all the units and they would just die when they spawned from their graves.
I love how when i finished the first part of a ranger quest called misterious drifter, took a whole hour. Now when i try to do the 2 part of it... I CAN'T BECAUSE IT DOESN'T COUNT
I think there is a bug where you just straight up lose the game, I just got to wave 40 in fallen mode on a pretty long map, and I just straight up lost when the round had barely started.
i lost hardcore yesterday cuz our rangers werent shooting and me and the boyz panicked and didnt know what to do also i lost the 2nd time on wave 50 but i didnt even get the 120 gems cuz i got kicked from the game with it saying 'player removed from data base'
I cant tell if cryomancer doing damage at level 0 is a real bug or not, but rn it's probably the best early game tower you can get(it legit costs 300 dollars and has infinite pierce with slowing capabilities 😭)
How to replicate this bug: - make sure to get 4 ppl in a party - join a game (do not bring dj or farm they are useless) - spam send and try to die (do not defend) - die and restart atleast 5 times and then keep restarting till you get the map you want - airstrike normals on wave 4
You can still get them at lvl 3s, at that, stop upgrading and focus on the main dpses like turrets and accelerators. A maxxed ranger have about 180 dps, so just 3 more maxxed accel (8/8 placement) is gonna be enough to compensate the extra 600 dpses (they can also compensate about 300 more, which is 9 maxxed rangers). P2 brings medic so they can spam it earlier, p1 have militants so they'll just spam more, 2 miltants = the extra dps you get from a maxxed ranger. P3 can use golden minigunners, albeit they'll need a lot, about 15 of them is gonna be present. Hardcore is gonna be harder, but adapt and you'll still win.
