NEW Things To Be Added in Minecraft 1.20 Update 

Who's excited about Camels and Sniffers in 1.20?! :O

1.16: Updated nether 1.17: Cave blocks 1.18: Bigger caves and mountains 1.19: Underground boss-like menace 1.20: camel

i really hope they add fruit trees if this would be a quality of life update. like how apples would get their own trees instead of dropping from leaves.

Bookshelves finally having a purpose. Sniffer winning the Mob Vote... Gonna guess that you'll need either 4 or 9 Bamboo sticks to craft the Bamboo Plank in order to craft its other craftable items like the raft. The addition of the camel as well fits so well since there are only a few passive mobs in the dessert. EDIT: Forgot about the hanging signs... I only see them on mods and now that they're in the game, there will obviously be a lot of updates in multiplayer servers that use medieval theme.

Maybe rafts could carry large mobs like horses since boats cant, giving them a better use.

I'm excited about the update but I'm more hyped about the build hacks that we'll be able to make

I know they didn't show this at minecraft live but I hope they add archaeology to the new update

I'm most excited for the Sniffer to be added. It's a prehistoric dinosaur thought to be extinct, but now is being brought back to life from finding Sniffer eggs in underwater ruins, and can sniff and dig up the ground for prehistoric seeds to grow ancient plants, plus it looks so cute! The Sniffer immediately had my vote with the amount of lore it has as well as all the new stuff it provides. Can't wait to have Sniffers live in my village while I decorate ancient plants everywhere.

Finally, a bookshelf that you can actually use as a bookshelf

That's not exactly 40... Well, either way, this update seems awesome and I think everyone is pretty excited about it 😄

since the update is currently unnamed, and they also revealed that the community is helping along side Mojang in making the 1.20 update (at least that's what I heard). I think it would be great for them to call the update, "The 1.20 Community Expansion Update". Just to show appreciation to the community.

Since they are rafts, I think you should be able to link multiple rafts together, potentially making a very large raft.

I'm mostly excited about the sniffer the camel and the bookshelf cuz those are basically aesthetic for Minecraft to me also would be good for my SMP that's not done yet

Camels, a new wood and hanging signs? This is straight out of an adventure mod or something! Can't wait to be a Minecraft bedouin and find a distant desert village full of testificates. Sort of cowboy-like. So cool.

The camels look very good and useful. I'm looking forward for them as my pet.

We should be able to recognize which book is which in the new book shelves because for example if you forgot which shelves you put you’re enchanted book, you would have to take out every books in the shelves just to find the book you’re trying to find.

I'm calling the update "The Tropical Update", even though there is no name for the update yet

They said they wanna keep updating minecraft for a lifetime, so for like 50 years from now it's probably gonna be like Red dead redemption 2 minecraft version.

Fun fact: llamas and camels belong to the same family called Camelids. Traits they share is a split upper lip, a third eyelid, and they both spit (though not nearly as often as people think)

I'm excited about hanging signs mostly because I love labeling places with signs & used to bother me so much there would be a gap between the sign & the location of the block! ✨

a thing I hope the raft does is allow us to carry larger mobs like horses, donkeys, and the new camels on the back. since boats can't carry them.

Alright let’s be honest now, it’s time for an End update!

The walk animation for the camel seems a bit jarring to me. Maybe because they don't have knee joint. Not gonna lie, the mob vote is pretty one sided for Sniffler. They kinda glossed over the other 2 while Sniffler is a bit more detailed explanation wise.

I was hoping that 1.20 would be the End update

Bedrock needs shovels for boats, which means we might get bamboo tools!

If camels also can be equipped with chests like llamas,mules and donkeys and still hold 2 players that means you can have a boat with 3 players and a storage too. Also can be used with minecart

the bamboo woods reminds me my old childhood house experience in Philippines, which is my grandmother's house made out of bamboo

They should add new villages! Swamp villages could be made with mangrove wood and Jungle villages could be made with bamboo :] Also, this update isn't that big (so far) but I really like it! It has a lot of quality of life features along with some things fans have wanted for ages such as working bookshelves or bamboo wood and even better signs, it's also adding it's own things like camels

The new bookshelves will definitely make your Library's in buildings, Schools, and your house be a hell of a lot more real

Fun Fact: Bamboo is NOT wood, it's instead a species of grass

I'm Excited for the Hanging signs, Chiseled Bookshelf, Bamboo Mosaic and Bamboo Planks having Stairs, Slabs, Fences, Fence gates, Buttons, Pressure plates and Trapdoors. and also Camels, Sniffers, Raft and Raft with Chest

Hope they will be a new structure like a library because of the book it has lot of potential it can have quest and some adventure story to get an ancient item!!!

They need to work on a rowing animation for the player character, same with horses

I hope the bookshelf could work as a memory block storing 0-6 signal because if so, it would make complicated redstone builds significantly easier to make

I love the new bamboo wood....

I feel like anyone with some coding skills could create this level of an update...an entire production team is behind this stuff, so I can't help but feel like the rate at which we're receiving upgrades to the game is incredibly lackluster. I feel like by now, all biomes should have been enhanced to a point at which Mojang could focus on adding new stories, biomes, dimensions, etc...just overall really disappointed with the game rn. Like...really? RAFTS?

I want to suggest that the new update's name is "The Culture Update" since they seem to have features that represent where people live. AS they mentioned in it too. And all these features seem cultural to me too xD

If camels are gonna be breedable, what do you feed them? It could be a new food source, maybe dates? (the fruit)

I hate sniffers since they won instead of the rascal. But what can you expect from the Minecraft community these days. Nothing good for sure. They should just stop doing mob votes to make sure no more dumb mobs get added in.

I wish Minecraft increase the sound of the bell so it could be heard at least .71 km (for fun: 4 km)

They really made the animations for camels so expressionistic and life like. I hope they revisit some of the older mobs and re-vamp there animations

The one reason mojang only put little feature there developing the minecraft legend
