I had massive usage out of Jubilee in legendary with her stun and blind. She’s still used in mutant for raids. Certainly not as essential as Omega Red, Rogue and MLF were but still worthwhile. Also deathpool being able to nuke stuff was pretty useful for me in cosmic. I used City : Scarlet Spider, OG Spidey, Ghost Spider, Squirrel Girl, Shang Chi Global : Doom, Cap Sam, Maria, Sharon, Sabretooth Cosmic : Deathpool, Kestrel, Ikaris, Sersi, T’Challa Legendary : MLF, Omega Red, Rogue, Jubilee, Shuri
Just finalized my City team with last gear piece and mine is exactly what yours is! Thanks for this content this is a nice change of pace for those of us who are still struggling on this. Grinding for those elusive uniques.
I totally agree with you to use most bang for your buck characters. I'm still stuck at city because I don't use web warriors or the 2 new warriors in raids. Wish spider Weaver was city
Great video, but imo as someone who took Cloak into dd5 I think hes a is a big no no as of now. Both him and Dazzler sit on my roster useless now that I have MLF and Eternals/DP for Doom raids. I know Eternals are basically impossible to unlock for new players, but it's still something to think about when gearing Cloak
That's why Dagger is not on the list as well. I think Cloak is still acceptable at this stage at least until some other characters become farmable, he still serves a use and is not as expensive to gear as his counterpart Dagger (who often needs both to be good).
Sunfire is fantastic with his special ability because it gives offense up to everyone not just unlimited X-men and I still prefer Shuri for her deflect and healing. As for cosmic I like the Mighty Thor & Thor combo because she’ll charge his AOE faster and while T’challa is a great choice without Yondu to steal positive effects and summons I can’t see it
Not even a year in player currently in DD4 working on DD5 soon lineup: City: Ghost Spider, Scarlet Spider, OG Spider, Shang Chi, Miles ( i cant justify my limited resources on she hulk atm) Global: Cap Sam, Sharon, Maria Hill (DD4), Wong, Hulk, Agatha/Gambit/Spider Weaver (DD5) Cosmic: Ikaris, Sersi, Kestrel, Dr. Strange Heartless, Tchalla Legendary: MLF, Red Hulk, Iron Man (DD4), Omega Red, Rogue, Death horseman (DD5)
For legendary, MLF Rogue Omega Red Doc Oc and Jubilee 1 shot the first two nodes and finished the final node in 3 attacks on my first run. I can only imagine having Red Hulk would be a further improvement.
Planning on going into DD4 very soon, So far have MLF, Omega Red, and Kestrel. Cosmic will be very tough for me without either of the Eternals, wondering if Emma is someone you’d be fine bringing to 15 since I use her in arena daily
She is very expensive. She is a kit-based character and as long as you have her passive at a minimum of 4, she is serving her purpose. If you are close to gt 15 on her, go ahead but I'd save that mutant gear for all the other mutants you need to gear up. Side note, if you are using the Speedternals on defense for Arena your only reason to build her up would be to avoid dying to a double tap from Ikaris. In order for that to be the case, you need to get Loki up as Well. Not a good reason to level her up since Loki will trigger the double tap anyways if he isn't built.
I ended up taking bishop to cosmic. I know that he is expensive with unique sets, and Axmen may be on their way out, but he doesn't share mini uniques with anyone important and I was struggling with Doom 3 and the G16 on him helped out. He is not very good in DD and dies almost right away, but he will tank a few shots.
Hmmm . so i just came back to game , I done dd4 - But what i m thinking as everyone saying go for horsemen . Why priorotize their team over your raids teams you use every day ? Isnt having a better raid team help your alliance instead of chasing apocalypse that will release ( i dont know when ) and what it ll be his use , we dont know . Just asking ...as i m getting at the point i need to decide who to g16 . I m missing rogue / red hulk as i was nt playing in their events .
It is pretty ridiculous how long they've held these characters, I will be addressing this in a separate video tomorrow actually. Sadly though, I just would still hold off building too many non relevant end game characters as replacements.
i have mlf, rogue and or at gt16 for dd5 ready to go... who are the CHEAPEST legendaries to gear up.. i have all characters, just dont want to waste future resources when the 3 i have are going to blast right through the last 3 nodes... im guessing doc oc is cheap because hes been around for a long time... im talking bottom of the barrel cheapest... thanks boilon...
I think Phoenix is still good choice to whittle down Legendary nodes, if your Horsemen are small in stars or you can't be bothered to think how to attack smartly.
i liked og spiderman vs scarlet spider. i thought his kit was at least equal if not better and my og was 7 yellow 5 red at the time vs 4/4 so it just made sense.
my baby account is almost level 69 and i think im like 26/100, so yeah not a lot of shards and can sympathize. Outside the table I mentioned a few extra cosmic choices but realistically I don't like the idea of taking characters that high that will just drop off.
I wouldn't do Valkyrie over Thor or T'Challa personally. Yes she's not mystic but her use beyond DD5 is limited, Thor is like the main player of the war scourge at least.
If you can unlock all of rebirth I would just build them, if you want better information I would suggest joining my discord, there are many people who can help with low level stuff
I've started city with anti-venom as my healer instead of squirrel Girl. I'm not impressed. But I'll probably finish before I can get squirrel Girl geared up.
Saw some other CC who recommended OG instead of Scarlet (after using Scarlet and not being impressed) I don't know if it matters much. I never use OG standalone and I was able to gear scarlet first.
I too vouch for OG spidey being better than Scarlet. Maybe on node 4 Scarlet is slightly more useful, but 5 and 6 OG shines much brighter than Scarlet ever could.
@@Boilon ok, thanks, I won’t level them too much then. I’m currently building my team for DD3 and I think they’ll be good for that - and those guys are keeping me in the 100-150 range for arena so they’re valuable to me. And I only have 13 ikarus shards so that ain’t happening 😂
are sure that, investing all our resources into unlocking Apocalypse, is the best option ? we don't know his stats, skills or areas of the game he'll play. he's months away, and I don't have to unlock him right away, when he comes out. I hate investing into bad characters, and some of these tier 1 and 2, are not good for my account. if I wait another year, maybe there's more gold and gear available, or maybe I'll quit the game, and don't care.
I mean through your logic you’re just kicking that can down the road lol. You could wait for better solid stand alone characters like the eternals or kestrel or whatever but who knows how long you’d be waiting I guess.
Deathpool probably would be better than Surfer, did I not mention any of these 2 in my video? I actually use Surfer just now on my baby account, but he's not really DD5 material which is what the table represents. But, in the mean time either of those are acceptable for the DD3/4 range I think, just not ideal.
@@timothytice4625 if you have Deathpool, shes ok to level up to G15 85 if you don't have an Ikaris. Im sure Sersi shouldn't be an issue to get because she is a 45 shard unlock and hits hard and survives regardless of how many yellow stars you have on her. Tchalla and Kestrel would be a priority for gold and training materials plus sbc's over Silver surfer if you want to buy yourself time to see if by chance you unlock Ikaris. Silver Surfer is definitely ok to get to G12 level 70 and I would gear up my 4 other cosmic characters to see where I am at first before leveling SS (buying time to unlock Ikaris hopefully) to go into Dark Dimension 3 or 4. He will never be an option for DD5 at this point. Im in the same boat as you on my baby account and only have 47 shards for Ikaris and just recently unlocked deathpool.
Too many endgame characters that are absolutely necessary use mystic gear. She is good but not worth building if you haven't already. Think about it... The entire dark hold team, ikaris and sersi plus spider weaver now.
i took dagger without cloak.. also with shang, og spider man, spider gwen and squirrel girl.. got me through.. definitely not a one shot but it worked if you have patience.. i struggled more with global 2 for some reason.. about to start cosmic tomorrow morning, and i have 3 out of 5 legendaries ready to go... cant wait to unlock him.. hopefully within 2 weeks..
@@salbec143 It is an option. People recommend cloak over dagger due to all the negative effects and spreading them with Ghost Spider and prolonging them if you bring Scarlet. But OG Spiderman seems to be better with Ghost Spider
@@ofnazareth9376 hi I am doing dd3 first run and at lvl 78 I am bringing the cosmic nodes to an end and I built up cloak and dagger, og spider man, ghost spider and Shang should it be just a walk in the park for city or is it a challenge
