New (to me) Cargo Van to Camper. 3 weeks later..UPDATES!! 

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of use for the bug screen!

I love the look, but it isn't going to stay that way. I used to run a contracting businesses and am aware of thieves! I bought it looking like that. But have plans ( as usual ) to make it more of a camper in time. Unfortunately I still have health issues as a priority... sigh. Temporary plates are still on ( name and address on them) so not going "into the world" much until the State lets me get back to a regular plate. Lynn

@@avianmariner Very good. Hearing that you know about thieving of Contractor Vans makes me feel better now. Looks wise, I too love the Contractor's Van look but had to mention that it wasn't the wisest look for safety safety's sake. Glad we're all on the same page. I was warned about that when I purchased it! When I put a fan, solar panel, and awning on the roof, it will look more like a camper van. I have only had it for a few weeks so it will take time to do everything I want to. Thanks for continuing to watch the channel 😊 Lynn

The small power banks can not be used for appliances. Only phones, ipad, cameras, and lights can utilize them. I want to be able to see out at night so the curtain is at a level that is perfect for me do so, but no one can see in ( I tested that! 😊 ) Also, for air circulation purposes, the curtain needs to be low ... no windows except the front ones which is another reason I am exploring roof ventilation options- otherwise it will be a bit hot 🥵 I am still using a 1000 watt portable power station though my lower watt Portable Power Stations are being retired! ( space is limited and the power banks make more sense when I am hiking etc for keeping a charge on small items) I am hoping to be traveling/ camping soon! Lynn

@@AngeleDeux1 In the next travel/ camping video, I will try to show more night shots of the Van inside and outside. Should be soon! I am also working on making the Van into more of a "camper" than the Commercial Van it was with the previous owner. I do love the stealthy look, but intend to make it more, "mine" and a bit less of a theft target 😊 Lynn

I'm not sure if this is the answer. I have a video called: Installing an RV Receptacle in my Van In that video I show how to install a port for Shore Power (an electrical power pillar) and have linked the parts used in the description section. Otherwise, I have many camping videos (recent ones) that show how I ran power to my previous vehicle (a minivan) :) Hope that helps ! Lynn (AvianMariner)
