My wife and I have been watching your channel for the last couple years and we love it. Eris and Charlie are absolutely adorable. We have a miniature long-haired dachshund and a Pomeranian. @RVUntethered our 2 little boys are a handful as well. We recently moved from a small town in northeast AR to Kansas City, MO. We left a house we own and now live in a duplex. It's been nerve wrecking at times because they love to bark at anything or nothing.....lol. But we love them anyway.

Love the jokes! And Cody’s responses. Love the area and trails. I use my power pack for a CPAP and lights - only a 20A but works well. It’s rarely used but for long trips without the camper I take it for emergencies. As usual, great video. Have a raisinless good day! Lol😂

I like it all, but my fave is definitely the cashews. OK, maybe not dried mangos. And fortunately, I've never run into dried watermelon. Dried watermelon in my trail mix would be justification for having ice cream instead.

If you get back to Pennsylvania again, we gave some great rail trails for some awesome bicycle rides. The D&L trail runs right through Jim Thorpe where you visited last year(?).

I bought a similar Bluetti solar generator and wired the 30A DC to the RV DC through a switch. With this method I can run the entire DC and AC (through regular RV plug) via the solar generator saving my regular batteries if needed.

You guys crack me up 😅 We loved everything about South Dakota, we didn’t get a chance to do any part of the Mickelson Trail but are going again in July. We have done many “Rails to Trails” in our travels but if you are ever in Northern Idaho look up the Hiawatha Trail, it’s really cool with 9 tunnels and 7 Sky Trestles you ride through and across.

Okay Cody….you complained about being cold while riding your bike. That just tells me you used too much E on your e-bike! Power down buddy and use a little more Cody power! That should heat you up a little. Just sayin’ buddy! Love the testing on your power station. I think I need to get me one for those rare occasions we might boondock and as a great backup for my sticks and bricks. And just for the record, South Dakota is one of my favorite states as well! Rode the Michelson trail about three years ago and loved it.

But for the cost of the Opus, you could get a larger inverter and another battery and end up with a simpler system.

There are a million ways to skin a cat, as they say. 😊 I did realize that although I have a great lithium battery, my 700w inverter is not quite enough to push the limits. If you already have the battery, yes, it could be more cost effective and less to carry. This model is a bit cheaper than some other known brands, but I am excited to keep testing some different options and see what it can do. I am thinking very seriously about a soft start to just see if we can get an air conditioner to run. Thanks for watching!

This is the Garmin that we've had since before we went full time (so nearing three years). Every so often, it will have its craziness, but it is rare (unlike Google Maps). We use it as our primary travel guide, since we can dial in our height and length to it, so it keeps us out of trouble. But in a few of the national parks or when we have no cell service, it has absolutely saved us! I never regret this purchase! amzn.to/3Xi8bMi

@@gsteve9129Yes the suction cup came with it. The WAY I have my cable isn’t ideal. I didn’t do much more than drape it around the steering wheel, but it works.

Can you run your whole camper and air conditioner on it? How long does it last? Can I plug it into my house and plug my camper into it and run my camper off it? Just wondering if I can use it like that so if I’m mooch docking at my parents.

You could..it supports pass-through charging, but in that scenario, I don’t think that it would be helpful, since it would just be pulling power off of the house. This would probably not run an air conditioner, or at least this size, without a soft start. I won’t have an answer for that, until we try some other things. It would be similar to plugging in to a house, with limited capabilities. We do have future plans of maybe testing out a soft start, to see what some real-time air conditioning we could get out of it. That part, we aren’t sure. But we will film it, when we do it!

Can you leave this plugged in so it stays charged until needed? Or do you charge and unplug? I want to purchase this unit and use it for my sump pump for when the power goes out. Plug the pump into the power station and plug the power station into the outlet so it stays charged but when the power goes out the pump will just run on the power station. Any thoughts?

It does pass-through charging, so you should be good. There are settings in the app where you can set that up. They do recommend a periodic discharge cycle.

You might be better off with something called a UPS - Uninterruptible Power Supply. Just make sure it is rated for motors. A lot of UPS's are designed for computers and might not work well with a motor.
