If you are here mostly to check out the BFF De-Stress product, I definitely suggest watching the whole video. I put the product on for the very first time while filming and had an evolving sentiment around how it looks and feels and made many comments throughout the video as my feelings developed.
Also, make sure you hang in till the very end where I demonstrate a different way to use the Miracle Blur! In past videos I used it under make-up. Here I will show using it as a last step, but again, you have to hang on till the end of the video is see that product cameo!

stumbled upon this video just now. regarding the amount of coverage - well, you put on a ton of product (which claims it's light, but buildable), so no wonder it felt heavy for you. I normally put on about a quarter to a third of the amount you put on (of any kind of foundation or tinted moisturiser). I was stunned by the amount you pumped into your palm, and then the second time when you put all of it onto your face. maybe try a lighter hand next time and you will get better results (with any kind of product - I actually do not have any experience with this particular tinted serum/foundation).

Hi! Thanks for watching & commenting! Too much product seem to be the consensus, but it is important to note that I was following the application Trinny herself demonstrates in videos. She uses 2 pumps just for her face. I used 3 pumps because I was carrying the product down my neck and upper chest in addition to my face. I have played with it a little bit since, but still felt it was very heavy even with using 1/2 the amount. This product is just not for me. Thanks again! xoxo - MJR

It might be a trick of the screen. In person it made me look like I was ill, totally washed out and devoid of any life/healthy color in my skin. xo - MJR

I have the de stress but only use half a pump to one pump at the most and it then gives a lovely light coverage. Try it I think you’ll prefer it that way.

Hi!!! Thank you so much for watching & commenting! So for a little context, before doing my review I watched the video on the Trinny London website which showed Trinny using 2 pumps for her face. I used 3 pumps in my video because I was carrying the product down my neck and my upper chest in addition to my face. I have since tried doing 1 pump, as several people have given similar feedback to yours. I'm not certain if it was a mental thing, but I still felt like the product was super heavy and I found it accentuated my pores up close, in a bad way, making me look older. (I found this to be true when I used 3 pumps as well. At first the finish looks nice, but after awhile it sinks in and ages me.) I think this is just one of those products that I will have to relegate to my 'product graveyard', sadly. Thanks again for checking out my video. I really appreciate your feedback! xo -MJR

You put too much of everything on. Use half of everything you used and put on the BFF eye after de-stress. And really pat in the bff eye with your finger you left too thick of a layer on. Just tips, not being mean. You have to completely rethink/re-learn your routine with trinny products. Everything is concentrated - less is more. (which is nice because it is expensive. ) :). I highly recommend the makeup section of her blog called T-tips on her website for application tips.

Hi! Thanks for watching the video and commenting. On the Trinny London website, Trinny demonstrates using 2 pumps of the BFF De-Stress, just for her face. Because I was carrying the product down my neck and my upper chest, I decided to use 3 pumps. You could be very correct that less is more with this product. For the purpose of the video, I chose to follow the demonstration of Trinny herself (adding just the 1 extra pump to cover roughly 2x the 'real estate'). Thanks again. @@mojorabbit3286 , yes it might be by skin type. You have healthy young skin and to my eye require less. I am 50 and due to long term use of retinol I have youthful skin for my age as well. (Not genetic - completely down to skin treatments) :) But I only require 1 pump of bff and a half pump of destress. Anything more is too much. But maybe someone with more texture or redness would need more product. You definitely don't need that much though. :)

@@mojorabbit3286 just a tip, perhaps pump a little less coz I noticed you use more de-stress in this video. I also don’t use full coverage foundation. What we commonly use here is either BB cream or CC cushion (and mostly Korean products). And yes, the de-stress shade might be too light for you. Funny coz here it’s common for women to use lighter shade, wanting to have a lighter skin tone.

I have so many Trinny products and almost exclusively use them and some CT. I do not have the de- stress yet but it looks very good on you. Unexpected that it is so high coverage. Very radiant skin finish on you still so can’t wait to try tbh. I love their liptocheek and eye shadows are very good and non creasing. Would you consider using a bit less of the destress or perhaps you have? Best wishes ❤️ keep up the reviews I like your honesty.

Hi!! Thanks for checking out the video! I did try putting a small amount of the De-Stress in with the BB Cream that I blend for myself. (I have a video on my channel about making your own BB Cream.) It still felt soooo heavy, but I wasn't 100% sure if was a mental thing. I was just so surprised by how heavy the De-stress was on my first try and that may be stuck in my head. But I will say that I did a DOUBLE cleanse to take the product off that first time, and I STILL could feel the product on my face even after the double cleanse! It is honestly the heaviest foundation product I have ever put on my skin. I will keep playing with it though! I'd hate for it to be a $50 doorstop! Thanks again for checking out the video! Yes, you used way too much of the Destress! Try dotting it & using a brush. Trinny's products are so pigmented & well made, you don't need much!

Thanks for your review, I've enjoyed watching both Trinny London reviews. I have bff and it comes in the same tube as the destress, I don't like their claim about spf because to get the spf they advertise you need to use 3 pumps. So I use a seperate spf, otherwise it's a very expensive BB cream. With the bff eye, I actually like the coverage it gives on you, I also have under eye circles and I think we are harshest on ourselves, but seeing it on you I thought it was lovely and wouldn't say that you had any darkness. With destress I have seen them use 2 pumps, I'm not sure how much you need to get the Skincare benefits but I like using 1 pump and I will also use it on my under eyes as it has good coverage. I'm struggling with Jat as I find it goes in my pores and it can look cakey and like I have makeup on, I also struggling with miracle blur for the same reason,

Hi!! Thanks for commenting and sharing your experience! I like to blend my own BB cream w/SPF. I have a video demonstrating this on my channel. I do thin out the product a bit but I use a higher level SPF for that reason. 'They' say anything over SPF 30 isn't any more effective so I use a high SPF product and blend it with a few other ingredients. It is my 'holy grail' base. I have tried the De-Stress a few different ways since I made this video, and I struggle to find any positive outcome! The best application I've found for the Miracle Blur is to put it under makeup. I would put only one pump of trinity destress product on your face and maybe go up a colour shade so you don’t have to use the bronzer. Also did you let the spf 30+ obsorb properly into your skin as you were quick in putting the first two products on.

Hiii! I am so glad you liked the review and please forgive me for being so late in my reply. I have bought several Trinny products and they have virtually all ended up in my junk drawer. If I am being honest, it is not a brand I am recommending right now. I sometimes feel bad putting any negativity out in the world, but the beauty industry is vast and I, myself really rely on honest reviews to help me decided what to invest in. I will always strive to be honest in how I feel about a product so that I can contribute in an earnest way to our community!! xoxo-MJR

Looks like you put too much on... it just takes about 1/2 a pump. My experience is that the de stress was light, certainly nothing like stage makeup.

What I would say is that Trinny (herself) has VERY uneven skin, so she would always use more than most. 1/2 a pump of the BFF de-stress would be my norm and it definitely doesn’t feel clarty or like stage make-up. It’s used as a light tint not a foundation.

De-Stress colour looks good in this video. The under eye colour looked too dark/beige. Also, you applied way too much in my opinion. You have beautiful skin, btw. x

Hi!!! I agree with you that the Mary shade of the BFF Eye is not a great shade for me. It is not one I'll be repurchasing. The De-Stress might look good on camera, but in person it really does look too light in shade, and I found after wearing a bit, that it sort of caked into my pores making my skin texture very ruddy. I used 3 pumps because Trinny herself has videos of using 2 pumps, just for her face. I always carry my foundation down my neck and upper chest, hence why I went for the extra pump. However, a lot of people have commented that I used too much product, so I think I'll do another video using less to see if we get a better outcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!!! xo -MJR

Agree with applying too much which is why you felt like you had stage make up on. It's not a full coverage make up. I get alot of compliments on my make up and skin. I couldnt watch til the end.

Hi Lauren! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video. I honestly think color on camera is a bit off compared to reality. I agree that the Mary shade (under eye color) is not perfect for me. The De-Stress was just way too light. It totally washed me out. Trinny London is a tough brand to navigate color-wise unless you can visit a store that carries the line. (To my knowledge there is 1 store in the entire USA and it is in New York City....nowhere near me) They make an effort to help with color matching via their Match-2-Me quiz, but I have not found it to be very accurate, hence the Mary and Jemima colors not being quite right for me! xo -MJR

I think you used too much product destress. Also I don’t think you necessarily need to use both the BFF and the destress at the same time. I’ve got destress at the moment and had the BFF. Personally I prefer the destress on its own but I loved the BFF too on its own for a more subtle glow.

Hi there! Perhaps the BFF SPF and BFF Destress don't play well together, but without the BFF SPF, you would need to add a different SPF step because the Destress offers no sun protection. I may very well have used too much product, but I wanted to follow the application method demonstrated by Trinny in videos. She used 2 pumps just for her face. I used 3 b/c I was carrying the product down my neck and upper chest in addition to the face. I've played with it a bit since this video and I'm firm that the BFF Destress is just a solid NO for me. Just found your channel. I have been using TL products for sometime. I would suggest you do the virtual appointment. I also think you may have put too much Destress on, so that may be why you felt it was too mask like.

I used 1 more pump than she because I was taking the product all the way down my neck, whereas she only applies to her face. I am so so so so sensitive that I can use very few products in the eye area. I do my best to make recommendations but something that might work for me may not work for someone else. I don’t think this is a good review it is very negative - you have put far too much cream on the lip product are Matt and a good coverage the shimmer goes over the top - watch a Trinny make up video you will get a very different finish xxx
