New Trunk For Van?? - Plano 1919

It's awesome, it outlasted the van. Use it for hauling logs for camp and everything and it's still as good as new. Really tough. You can't go wrong with them. Atb Dave

Yep cheers Glenn, it will lock but will need 4 padlocks to fully secure it. There are 2 holes for locks on each of the long sides so a bit more fiddly but worth it for the extra strength. Atb Dave

It's been perfect, in constant use in the van getting dragged in and out, occasionally dropped, stood and sat on and not a mark on it after over 2 years. I do not have any regrets about buying it, amazing bit of kit. Atb Dave

Same here. Just ordered one to put in the back of the 4Runner. Looks like the perfect height width and size I’ve been looking for and it is priced very nicely. Got it for 30 bucks on Home Depot

With a drill some nuts bolts and washers (large washers so you don't rip the plastic)

Hi Tony. They are too expensive here in the UK due to shipping costs from the USA. So unfortunately I won't be buying one to review. Looking at photos though they do look really tough. Lid looks super strong but I feel it reduces storage space too much for my liking and makes the box bulkier than it needs to be compared to the Plano boxes. Atb Dave

@@tonypham3263 I've never used it outdoors in those conditions as it doesn't often get that warm in Scotland. However in my van during the summers it was subjected frequently to temps around 120 degrees due to trapped heat from the sun coming through all the windows and it has held up perfectly.
