There are some fun options here, but I am very sad our tunnel bugs didn't get anything fun through any of the detachments. VI in particular would really have elevated their game.

having lethal hits on a 5+ is mostly so the lethal hits triggers. That makes it good on a Harusex or a ripper swarm.

You missed a lot of the detail on the assimilation swarm strats. The regen when a friendly unit dies can be used on the unit that just died. Also the sticky objectoves must be done by a harvester.

For Assimilation Swarm, Give the Broodlord Parasitic Biomorphology! Str 5 Genestealers with 5 attacks each, yes please!

So far the synapse detachment is my favorite. I can imagine three Norn Emissarys as actually being pretty good. Maybe even three malaceptors too! Id love to try that if it didnt cost 600$ 😅

On synaptic nexus, the stratagem smothering shadow is on a 3+ not a 4+

The Nexus detachment can allow the Norn assimilator to make a 6" charge from deep strike if he hits with his harpoon with the +1 to charge/adv.

Thought this was really good, but i wish you would of designated which stratagems are battle tactics. This way when you play with the Hive Tyrant, you could know which stratagem has the most value.

I really enjoyed the Crusher Stampede detachment over the weekend. Great Strats to use.

What I'm going to do with the Unending swarm is take 20 gargoyles with a prime with the 2+ move. Advance 6" for a 20 inch move then shoot for another 1-6 movement then string out in a line in front of my opponent blocking them into their deployment zone and if possible tag a tank to make them harder to shoot the next turn. If my opponent then shoots me in the next turn I then just move forwards and tag more stuff which stops them from continuing to shoot me.

Oh boy the datasheets are sorted by the dewey decimal system 🤣

also my favorite is assimilation swarm!!i realy love the idea of this, neurotyrant with 6 tyrant guard +1 to hit and if battlesock +1 to wound take x2 the one neurotyrant have the regenerating monstrosity and the other the biomorphology

I have no clue which one to use. I guess I'll playtest every deepstrike build. Better be screening well in 10th! Tyrannocyte is broken. Hopefully, we'll be able to do static secondaries effectively.

well the Crusher Stampede is just bad, where hyped to try a Monster list but even just taking vanguard is better then Crusher stampede for monsters and the same with the Invasion fleet. Vanguard is strong and seems fun with all that deepstrike and infiltrate. Unending swarm really only benefits hormagaunts, the strats are nice though. assimilator i think can be fun but not the easiest to play. Synaptic Nexus is also not good. :(

You should divide the stratagems between battleline (free use) and others.

Unending Swarm is awesome. 5×20 hourmas end termas is 1250p total + 2×22 and 1×11 neurogaunts + Neurotyrant + 2×3 venomtropes + Swarmlord = 1990p for 263models. "And they don't stop coming". All fast, charge after advance, sustained 5+ on 20th hourmas is big. I play against T'au, guard, Eldar, noone of them have possibility to kill more then 120 models before 3BR, before devastating nerf. If we can off blast, iven marines will strugle. Only one problem - not enough space in deployment :)

Vanguard looks the most fun to me.

quite disappoint at crushing stampete. look underwholming in many way. and endless swarm is just more move range not buff gaunt much.

I absolutely hate this codex simply because the only thing i care about is lore, and the amount of said lore was cut in half compared to 8th ed codex. And that is considering that 10th is the edition where tyranids actually recieved new lore.

What is ridiculous is simply gw's delivery and manufacturing policy. I ordered my Codex and Data Cards directly on 02.09.2023 and still haven't received them, just sad, but unfortunately we all continue with this company.... About time for another company in a similar environment....
