I just want to point out. The biovore rule states that only 1 "unit" may seed spore mines, and the unit has a number of mines equal to the number of biovores in that unit. It is not 1 dude per unit, just one unit per army.
@@maelstromgamingstudios5240 you are very welcome 😁. I love tyranids and appreciate the regular content around them! Helps me see things I didn't catch myself and helps me think outside the box for strategy and construction.
Totally agree with everything on this list. Appreciate all the content. Been a huge fan of this channel since I started nids a year ago and you've helped me a lot in my own games!
Ive found pyrovores invaluable in my matches. My local group targets them exclusively whenever they see me field them. They HATE them. These guys have done so much as part of a defensive line. Auto include in two groups of 3
one biovore UNIT can spawn one Spore mine Unit...A unit of spore mines is 1-3 models. A unit of Biovores is 1-3 models. So a unit of three biovores can spawn one unit of 3 spore mines once per turn. You just can't have three separate biovore units spawn three separate spore mine units.
Pyrovores - 30 points per model, 3 units of 1 on the harvester detachment or any other detachment to bring them from reserves, do behind enemy lines/engage/deploy homers… or even shoot with them to remove benefit of cover
I like how the Harpy and Hive Crone have Vanguard, so they can advance and charge, fall back and charge, become untargetable > 12", and use the hover rules.
I think you're wrong about Neurolictor being anything but our #1 best model. The +1 to wound aura is massive and pushes our damage into the stratosphere. With neurolictor buffs up, 6 melee warriors led by a prime can one-tap a Russ or War Dog 70% of the time or so. Basically every competitive list I've been seeing for nexus and vanguard has 3 NL, Deathleaper and a Neurotyrant just to take advantage of that +1 to wound. It's the glue that holds our codex together
@ the alternative i am about to use as antitank is 3x neurolictor... the +1 to wound is imense, making an haruspex wound no matter what on a 4+ is huge... same goes for nearly everything becoming antitankisch with +1 to wound, combine it with reroll 1s to hit and wound from nexus detachment
2 x 3 zoeys seems like the sweet spot now. They die so quickly and 3 24” lasguns is cool but idk if it’s 110 points cool .. it’s still only 3 dice a unit.
@@devotedtodestruction tbh theyre not that great after the points nerf. theyre the family youre forced to live with not the family you want. were just kinda forced to pay the zoanthrope tax because theres nothing else in the codex that kills tanks at range except for the embarrassingly overcosted rupture cannon tfex. ive never been able to make 6 zoans work though ive always needed at least 12 to make sure enough live to do their job. i used to run 18 before the points nerf.
I never said 1 per game. But regardless, it doesn´t seem right. Just remove the secondary game on them and let us spam the field with mines.@@zepaduse97
