New Ultimate Metal Chess Pieces review

This is the set we have been working on for the past 2 years. Plated Zinc pieces give this set a tremendous look, feel, and weight. This set weighs in at over 9.85 lbs. That is .35 lbs. more than we thought it was going to weigh in at.
The silver and black plating give this set the closest look to having black and white pieces without having to make one side white. It has the Staunton styling and the Ultimate design that made this set famous in plastic and wood. It stands to reason that we took it into the metal pieces realm.
If you are buying a set for your house to keep on display...this is it. If you want a gift for someone who seriously enjoys chess and does not have a nice set for the house...you will not find anything better at the price!
