Nice vid. My only problem with RCMART is that their shipping boxes are very thin... combine that with the handling of the post often results in holes in the shipping box. I had a few things damaged because of this. I know the boxes are thin for weight saving but I think a slightly thicker box will be beneficial.

Yeah i agree the boxes are a bit thin but like you said it’s for cost savings. It would be cool if they had an option when picking the shipping method to have the packaging be extra heavy duty

Have you got a chance to compare between toe-in and toe-out drifting?
@BMR3
@BMR3 3 года назад
Yup that’s been a big part of my focus when I have free time to test. I’ll be making a video about in the near future (just need to find the time...). But a quick summary for you, toe in will create parallel lock which results in a high speed front end since the wheels want to roll. Toe out on the other hand will create uneven lock, so the outside tire will scrub a bit & it will slow your front end down & give it more time to come around the corner. Toe in = crab walking & toe out = slower speed drifts & more control in tight turns/transitions.

I like rcmart, I used to get parts for my 1/10 scale rc cars years ago, that’s where my mini z is coming from too 😊

They have the best prices & I use the cost saved to basically get free express shipping. It’s a win win 😸

Yoo mr bmr! Is the drz kit worth getting with electronics? I seen brushed esc an thought fuck that! Plus whats a good mid range transmitter?
@BMR3
@BMR3 3 года назад
Hey EFARACING, hope your doing well! It’s not brushed, it’s a sensor-less brushless ESC & I think it’s actually pretty good. You can upgrade to a senseored brushless ESC but I don’t think it’s necessary unless your chasing PEAK performance. Yes I would recommend getting the full electronics package with the DRZ V2 & the Atomic sensorless motor to match. It’s actually a very good motor with minimal cogging & minimal heat (for being sensorless). The only parts I would think about swapping out would be the servo & upgrading to a gyro with dual EPA.

@@BMR3 just going crazy looking at the drift course with no rwd😂 hope your good too! Good to know its better than originally thought but really annoying its not closer to rtr but i understand why So the sensorless vs sensored esc and motors are they mixable? I guess not but Im trying to avoid the OH NO MOMENT realising i need more because i jumped the gun on parts needed😂 I want a decent start so anything above poverty spec will do me or thats what will happen while im waiting for the missing bits haha!

@@efaracing4000 You gotta get a RWD man! They are so much better then AWD it’s ridiculous, they can drifter about half the speed & have 3 times the steering angle so you can really work some tight areas. Regarding the ESC, I believe you can mix & match but you lose the added efficiency of running the sensor. But then again I’m not 100% sure, you might want to ask Beaver to be sure. But as long as your not running the sensor cable I don’t see why they wouldent work. But the electronics that come with the DRZ are very solid. It’s a metal gear digital servo (just in a plastic case) & the gyro is buttery smooth but lacks dual EPA settings. However with the steering angle stoppers installed on the car you really shouldn’t need dual EPA. Also, Atomics sensorless ESC & motor are top of the line, minimal cogging & minimal heat for being sensorless. But yeah all is good with me & the family. I’m back to work full time now so I don’t have nearly as much time with my toys 😹

@@BMR3 even watching a badly set up rwd blows the awd although my mod test awd chassis is very similar to the handling of a rwd but also miles away if that makes any sense 😂 Thanks for the info man much appreciated! I might get a cheap transmitter like beavers recent one and then upgrade do you know if the noble nb4 is anygood for the rwd gang? I really like it but its not bigged up often so worried im missing something Surely your drz could fall in and out of your pocket while at work but guess the transmitter would have to sit in your car🤷‍♂️🤣

@@efaracing4000 get the NB4 if you can afford it, it’s a outstanding controller. Only reason I dident get one is because the steering wheel is moveable & I also wanted to flex with the M17 😹 I swear half of the RWD drift scene on Facebook is a flex off & I got sucked in 😹 Lol the DRZ would fit in my pocket no problem & the NB4 could fit in the other! It’s a very compact controller

@@BMR3 interesting to see you getting into 1:10th when i bought my first AMR the hobby shop called mini-z a gateway drug and i said i wouldn't get into 1:10th, i now have 1:18 1:10 and 1:7th rcmart got a little too much of my money last week for a tamiya rally car for 'rally running' and a rock bouncer. too many projects and now i need a second shelf

It’s truly a vicious cycle, but it’s awesome to be able to enjoy RC inside the house. I’m happy to hear you have caught the bug! It’s too much fun If you enjoy drifting then I highly recommend the DRZ V2, it’s a great chassis but that’s a lot of attention to detail.

Any chance you will be having a GLD chassis on the channel?
@BMR3
@BMR3 4 года назад
I have the XRX & it’s very similar to the GLD. But I may end up getting a GLD if I can’t get the XRX to fit narrow bodies. We’ll see, time will tell & I haven’t ruled the GLD out.

Wonderful brother package, I'm looking at a chassis to buy, and I'm between the XRX or atomic DRZ V2, so I'm going to wait for you to mount it and see how it turns out and so I have a good comparison, a hug and take good care of you brother !!
@BMR3
@BMR3 4 года назад
Hello my friend, I hope your doing well. Between the XRX & DRZ V2, you can’t go wrong since both are very very good chassis. One thing to note, the XRX has a Wide front end so that may be a factor since you can’t use narrow bodies (what what I’ve read). The DRZ V2 can be narrow or wide (with optional parts) & it has good electronics, all you need to get is a motor & the atomic 3500kv is great. another consideration would be that the XRX comes partly assembled, where as the DRZ V2 is a demanding build that requires attention to the fine details to get it working properly. Let me know what you end up choosing & take care bro!
