Not a developer but for clarification the Silva Venator "Skaith" video 5:29 is NOT a dragon. It is a carnivorous AI that will be hunting young dragons and humans, though human players can learn to tame and ride them. The AI have different biome variations so you may find a variant of an AI that looks slightly different compared to others.
I dont think a lot of people here who are complaining about survival games being boring understand what a survival game is supposed to be.. Im looking forward to this new game, personally.
I think the biggest issue is that most survival games don't have enough Pve, and thus often come off as 'boring' unless your pvp'ing. But the fact that there is hostile AI and such makes me think that perhaps this game will figure out ow to at least slightly skirt that issue.
nnnnice. cheesy thought. for the roleplayers. try putting in saddles for players to make for dragons. may benefit wild dragon players from friendly dragon players. long with friend or foe ideas. dragons could help hunt for humans and dragons will have steady food. and could help with other hostile human camps/kingdoms @@TheWingsOfDawnOfficial

As someone that has looked at other dinosaur survival games only to find out it takes an absolute ETERNITY to do anything so it's boring as all hell, I'm watching this game very carefully to see if it's going to make the same mistakes. If I'm going to have to do nothing but walk around and eat food for 3 hours to grow up one stage, I'm out.@@TheWingsOfDawnOfficial

Consoles are also in desperate need for a good dragon game to invest into and if this one turns out to be as promising as it looks, I'll apologize for being wary

Still tho once it’s done and it does come to console I’ll definitely be looking into it cause we need more games like,path and the isles on console tbh tho playing as a dragons makes it better :)
Can you play as human and let's say play with your friend who's a dragon? And ride the dragon? Imagine having to take care of eachother.. so many role play opportunities
hi! you can play as a nomad human, which is meant to team with a dragon. you can ride them, give them armor, build for them, etc. the gist is that your relationship provides protection for each other
I cant wait to try this game, since your team along with you have worked so hard to make it, then of course i wil give it an try and im sure i will love it so much!! Staying very sceptical about "upcoming" games. Imma wait until its actually out. Often those promising projects get rejected sadly so I wont even hold my hopes hihg :/ Made too much bad experience with that.

I like how it looks but after day of dragons... I dont have much hope for a good dragon game. I at least have small hope this might be worth looking into, because of the models and animations already shown.
