I played them on Visual Boy Advance (a Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance emulator) and recorded it with BB Flashback Express (a screen recorder). Except for the Japanese version of DKL 3, I found that on the internet (same video from the old version). In the old version they were found on the internet but I didn't like the quality of them because the guy filmed his Game Boy and the video titles he made faded into the videos and couldn't get rid of all of it.

I wish the DKCR and DKC:TF game-overs were more...visually interesting, I suppose? The first three games had rendered scenes showing how the Kongs were, but in the newer games the background is black, and only in DKC:TF is something bad actually happening to the Kongs.
How to not get (as many) Game Overs in DKC: Tropical Freeze: Do not choose Cranky Kong to accompany you on the first boss. (learned that the hard way...)

this might be an unpopular opinion, but the GBA game over for DKC 1 is actually scarier than the SNES version for some reason...? having the jungle background + that silhouette outro thing + still keeping the music/image from the SNES makes the atmosphere all weird and disjointed. though that might just be me since i find “bizarre” things a lot scarier than purposefully “intense” things.

Well... It's not exactly a DKC game, it's a spin off. DK64 was originally going to be called Donkey Kong Country 64, and it's so far the only DKC game without "Country" in the title.
