[NEW VIDEO] New Instrumental Song #23 (Please Read Description) by Ryan Smith 

This is 1 of 3 Final videos that I will be uploading. I don't play guitar anymore due to hearing loss. These videos were recorded in 2018 right in the middle of when I was losing my hearing. I never uploaded them because since I could barely hear what I was playing, my playing is a bit rough around the edges. My timing is off and I'm not sure if I'm even in tune or not. 3 years later I've decided that they're such good songs that they deserve to be uploaded regardless of how my playing is. Hi Ryan, I don’t know if you’ll read this, but Iv just started play in guitar at the age of 45, and Joe Satriani is my favourite guitarist. I just came across your channel, and I have been blown away by your ability, not just technically but how emotional and soulful your playing is especially when adding your own flavour and inspiration to a piece. I am so deeply sorry that someone with such a great talent has lost something so obviously meaningful to them and so passionate. Watching you play is giving me so much inspiration to put everything into my practice and playing. I hope that despite your condition that you are otherwise well and healthy. Thank you for sharing your passion for music, and guitar.

Ryan, I cannot believe what I am reading over here - seriously ! I think I have never commented any of your videos but reading about your hearing issues and that even in such condition you were able to play some of these songs is totally crazy to me. First of all I am sorry about such health issue as I love music and cannot even imagine how tough this needs to be for you for such musical talent ! On the other side let me tell you something positive - You made my life so much better with discovering your channel with your music since I love your playing your music since I play myself I can truly tell you how inspiring you are for me but even better I can see all similar comments making me happy there are more people like me for whom you increased happiness in their life through your music. I truly admire your songs especially #5, #11, #7, #20, #21!! I strongly believe you are top on youtube with your music especially with your melodies. If you ever need any help please do request or share I am sure people would love to help and I would be with first round too ! Oh man, so sorry about your hear loss...I loved your video, such a talent. I've never got why you had so few subscriber 'cause you really get what make guitar/solo/improvising so good. Not crazy un-emotional schred, no weird effect, just what is needed with such a nice sens of melody. I dunno what cause you hearing loss, but hope that one day, it will get better so you'll be playing again ! Cheers mate

Hi ryan, I’ve been listening to your music fir a long while now. Without a doubt you ARE a guitar legend. You have inspired me to go further then I thought I could and given me some of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL music I’ve ever heard !! Im a very big joe satriani fan and you have songs i like better then some of his (sorry joe) songs!! You really should be bigger then you are, i know people that come to my studio and sometimes looking to be inspired… i put your stuff on and in a short amount of time they become very passionate and inspired adout coming up with new material. Your music is bigger then you know…… thank you so much for all the music you gave ….. I truly hope you get through your hearing loss for the better and rejoin the guitar….. you will be missed!!!!

Oh dear, I am so very sorry for your hearing loss! I can't even imagine how tough that must be. I remember how I had just started with improvisations on the guitar and how I one day came across one of your videos. It was an impro I think on one of the backing tracks I used to play over. Watching your impro just blew me away man. That guitar tone was just something else and I remember very clearly how I loved, and still love, your slides between the notes that you occasionally threw in. All these things gave me so many ideas for my own impros and for that I am very thankful. Anyways, whatever you do, don't lose that smile that you always had when you were playing the guitar! Even though you might not be able to play anymore you're still an inspiration for many of us here, and that is something to smile about if you ask me :) Thank you!

Hi Ryan, so sad. There's coclear implants and maybe it can help you to keep playing. You're such a good artist. Hope you can recover from this. Not for us, for you, because it's really clear that you loved playing the guitar and write songs. A big hug from Argentina. I was born hearing only from one ear. Sometimes I complain about that. Reading you, and seeing that you were a lot more talented than me, helps me to understand that no one has an easy path. Hope you have a great life and can keep enjoying what you love to do.
