That’s the only way this comic will have even the slightest form of success. Unless people buy the comic so they can wipe their ass with it in case they run out of toilet paper.

I completely agree. This is absolutely ridiculous. But I need an opinion on something. The concept of Screentime is not bad. A teen who can tap into the internet and any computer with his mind (plus enhanced processing power) is not an actual bad idea, if you make it more intense. The origin and name, though, could/should be different. Internet gas? Are you kidding me? Call him "Technomancer" or something, and make his origin like: His grandfather or father forced him into an experiment to combine technology with the human mind, seeking humanity's perfection (no "internet gas", but pure physical torture and neural implants). He escaped and, now, tries to survive on his own. He constantly sees the digital world around him, slowly losing his mind, until the New Warriors find him and help him control his power. The old comics were always for the outcasts, and there was always a reflection of life at the time. X-men was a big metaphor for being persecuted for being different, a person of color, being gay, and all of that, but it was more nuanced.
