New Way to Fish Your Chatterbaits  

I think most bass anglers underestimate how much bass like tubes, I’ve caught a lot of big ones on tiny crappie tubes in the spring, the fish see skirted lures all the time, spinnerbait, chatterbaits ,jigs, the tube has a rubber skirt looks diffrent feels diffrent to them . Sometimes that’s all you need to catch more fish then the next guy doing the same old thing

Tubes have been my #1 go to here recently. It's almost guaranteed I catch something. Smallmouth, largmouth, crappie, bluegill, steelhead. You name it.

looks like the strike king tube. Skirtless with a tube is my favourite way to fish a chatterbait. I use tubes from reins - the first centimter of the top is filled to set the hook/bait keeper secure. or check out the keitech salty core tube *sry for my bad english, cheers from germany

My biggest bass was a 6 pounder caught on a black and blue spinner bait with with a red and white tube on it. No clue why it works but bass seem to love it

Strike king makes a flipping tube, it's solid plastic at the head, would seem to work better....nice mod tho, thanks for sharing..❤🙏

Caught my largest bass on a black and blue chatter bait with a red trailer. 9.24lbs. Good idea with the tubes. Any lake Erie fishin people that read this put a solid white 4" tube and try this. The small mouth around the rocks go nuts for these. Shhhh 🤫 let it be our secret

I've been playing with chatterbaits in the saltwater. I've seen flounder and redfish caught on them on RU-vid. The flounder don't seem to be here right now, but I think when I find them the technique you mentioned will be deadly for them. But I'm going to use a Berkley Gulp tail, a grub or swimming mullet or boot tail. Gulp really catches flounder, and I think it's going to be awesome with a chatterbait for dirty water.

I'm definitely going to try this next trip out!

Tubes are some of my favorite plastics. Works on tons of different species and sizes of fish.

Smoke with red flake! Dip a 1/4in of the tail in red spike it!

Works alot better if you use a strike king Rage blade. Able to push the tube on without slicing. It slays 👌

I don't understand why you have to cut the tube. What's the difference of pushing the keeper up into the tube and then threading the chatterbait hook thru the senko piece and then the tube wall???

Best way to use a chatterbait is to put it in the tacklebox and use a trick worm. Can't be outfished, at least around here anyways

Very cool, I always have a tube tied on. Why do you need to cut a slit in (damage) the tube when you can simply bring the hook point thru it? Seems to me this will also secure the tube on the hook. I feel like the cut will increase/damage the tube more with each bite and catch...

Why not just use the tube and the sinko at the same time at this point, why waste the sinko? It should fit just fine with the hollow tube, chatter tube sinko, spinner-worm got nothing on that
