lol dou dou means sweetie in french. When my friend was visiting me in Texas from France, she told me she calls her bf that. When we visited her and she introduced him to us my husband and I immediately just called him dou dou the whole time.

Ma puce means that too :) (i’m french Canadian) doudou it’s also a Object, usually flexible and soft (fabric, etc.), a young child chooses to "companion" (to play, to sleep and conmfort him) like a blanket or Teddy Bear 😊❤️

Love your in depth reviews! And I also love this brand. Btw, they do have a bronzer- now in two shades. It’s a unique bronzer- I didn’t think I’d like it, but after watching the tutorial and using it over the super loaded highlighter in peau de soleil (which I use as a bronzer) I love it. I honestly have a zillion bronzers but this “butter bronzer” from WA gives me a unique color. I thought it would pull yellow, but it actually just gives me the best “natural” tan.

The Hindash palette is such a cool idea! I followed him back when he was just art, and it's awesome that he took the artist's eye path with his palette. I wish I needed it just to have it in my collection.

I have just finished my foundation stick (bought in late 2019 and used semi-dail) and was so excited to get a new one. The liquid lip balms feel very similar to the Rodin luxury lip & cheek oil (which I adore!). I am absolutely intrigued!

I wonder how Garçonne compares to the Roen Lip Balm in Scout, the Victoria Beckham Lip Tint in Bisou and the Posh Lipstick in Pose. FYI, Ma Puce is pronounced kinda like pousse (like mousse but with a P), it literally means My Flea and it's a French term of endearment ;)

Hi! I have the VB bisou and Cherie and the WA liquid lip balms in Ma Puce and Nou Nou. The main differences (aside from colors) is that the VB are more lip stains. They aren’t “drying” per se.. but they are not “bouncy” or “wet” looking.. which I get from WA. VB lasts a lot longer and is a more traditional stain and WA is a formula I have never felt before but it reminds me of the by Terry baume de rose in the tube (not the pot). Tbh- I bought VB when mask wearing was mandatory bc it truly doesn’t budge and gives a gorgeous lip tint/stain. But I wouldn’t say it’s nourishing. WA feels so so good on my lips and looks amazing. It’s a true wet look and feels soft. I haven’t tried Roen lip products. Hope this helps!

Her butter bronzer powder is a must try! I usually pass on bronzers..the never look nice and this one just blends in and is lovely. It’s buildable and never drying or cakey...I add to neck, chest and shoulders. You have to try it!

I know Kacki isn’t interested but for everyone else: the lippies are very similar in texture and feeling to the Fit Glow lip serums. They also have a lot more shades to choose from and the price is comparable.

Gonna go mix Bichette with Drama Cla$$ while I wait for Garçonne to arrive 😅Dou Dou is my favorite Baby Cheeks, and the Lip Suede kinda made me gasp - it's definitely a Champagne experience lol. I really like Westman Atelier the brand, the products, the makeup artist/person - and have fallen for almost all of it. _Not_ the $58 mascara, though, no no just gimme fake lashes. Thanks, Kackie! 💕

I appreciate every time you talk about color theory. I'm still trying to figure out my own undertones and find complimentary shades for my face, is there any way you could make a tutorial for how to figure out your color theory? I want to get to where you are- you can look at your face and the colors on it and know that you need to add lilac to bring the hue to where you want it.

Random note. My favorite dewy sunscreen is the TonyMoly My Sunny Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA +++. TonyMoly went cruelty free this year by ending sales to China. So I can buy it again!😊 It's really quite lovely on the skin if you like a chemical spf.

@@kackie gotcha! I have never shopped on their site directly, but I checked just now and it looks like they have international shipping with DHL for 10 euro with orders under 99 euros. So that's pretty pricey if you want to purchase just one item (I think the skin tint is 30 euro), but isn't too bad if you're looking to try multiple things and you hit that total :)

The lightest shade in Westman Atelier's stick foundation is N. I think it came out sometime in 2020? And she has a powder bronzer...in only two shades...in 2021. (gives Gucci Westman death stares)

I bought the lipgloss. Its just lipgloss. Shiny, doesn't last, nothing special in my opinion. I also own merit beauty's lip oil and fitglow's lipserum. They all look pretty for about 10 mins/30 mins if you don't drink water. I don't mind victoria beckhams lip stain which lasts a couple of hours and I like her mascara. Typology skin serum suggested on this channel was also a winner for me. I just wish there was something natural looking and with natural ingredients that is long wearing. Constant re application is impossible and going from looking glam to washed out is a drag.
